This is one of the reasons Rocket Espresso doesn't recommend descaling yourself. Its hard to completely flush descaler or citric acid out of the system entirely. This is why I took my boilers out of my r58 to descale.

Espresso suggestion [$6000 budget]! Possible endgame?
Bezzera is on my watchlist, for sure! I did research on the Rocket R58, as well as the R9 One, but people said the repairability on those machines are quite a pain? And they often have issues? Not sure 100%, but that’s the general consensus when I ask around about the higher end Rocket models.

I have previously restored a R58 V1, (replacing the heating elements the E61 group, along with several pipes). The chassis is the most difficult part to fix.
