At Home Set Up Advice [$3000-5000]

I would prefer the Bianca to the other machines on your list, unless the Rocket machine is a R58. You should also consider machines from Profitec and ECM. Do some internet research on the X54; reviews I've seen are very mixed. For home use you might consider a single dose grinder, which would be a b

Wendougee Data S Espresso Machine

I’ve had my setup for the last three months and couldn’t be happier with the machine. Went from a Rocket R58 to the Wendougee and you cannot compare the two. Rock solid build, excellent machine!

Have I overspent on the espresso machine?

My list of requirements was long: *Dual boiler. *Capability to heat both boilers at the same time and of course use both at the same time. *Quick recovery. *Rotary Pump *Large water reservoir with option to plumb in to water source and drain. *E61 group head with flow control. *PID Controller *Shot timer *S

Espresso suggestion [$6000 budget]! Possible endgame?

Bezzera is on my watchlist, for sure! I did research on the Rocket R58, as well as the R9 One, but people said the repairability on those machines are quite a pain? And they often have issues? Not sure 100%, but that’s the general consensus when I ask around about the higher end Rocket models.

Advice?

I have previously restored a R58 V1, (replacing the heating elements the E61 group, along with several pipes). The chassis is the most difficult part to fix. A chassis issue requires a total teardown to swap the frame and this part is very extensive, you need to order a chassis from rocket. The repa

3rd defective Mechanika Max in a row [$2400]

--> Why are we using 58 if it's not the best? Probably just what the commercial machines standardized around in the middle of the last century, lol. Got my 49mm tamper and the Rocket bottomless portafilter. It's not as impressive as the ECM I had previously. The Rocket handle is hollow, which makes

Rocket R Cinquantotto upgrade to La Marzocco Línea Mini

I had an R58. The biggest issue with me, other than the nonstop niggles appearing every other month, was the fact there was no dedicated Rocket service provider or support. They rely on local distributors to service their machines, and you’re at the mercy of luck for whether they’re skilled enough t

I'm doing maintenance. Should it be bent? [Rocket R58 V3]

Oooff, looks like it shouldn’t be like that. Maybe you need to print some support for that middle sagging part to prevent it from getting worse. Found someone with the same issue as you.https://www.coffeeforums.co.uk/threads/bent-frame-rocket-r58-cinquantotto.61248/https://www.home-barista.com/espre

Is the La marzocco really worth it? [no budget]

Especially if you build quality and very few mechanical headaches or items to fix? I like my LMLM. It seems like 1/2 of the double portafilter LM's in so many of the cafe's and the local LM tech that fixes so many of them also recommended it. I have used a Rocket R58 and and Profitec and both had is
