I have 10TB worth of torrents, unlimited gigabit fiber internet and Surfshark VPN. How do I seed more?

Get proton, pia, airvpn, torguard or any other vpn that allows port forwarding. This is your limiting factor. Also look how to bind the vpn interface to qbittorrent from advanced settings.

Autorenew is a scam with everyone - in this case NordVpn

For me it's Proton because it supports P2P. Mullvad is great too, though. Mullvad, Proton and PIA Are the holy trinity of good VPN's imo

Is anyone actually getting into legal trouble nowadays for downloading music?

First of all, a lot of users will block you on SoulSeek if you aren't sharing anything and it's also dick move to download and not upload back. Why don't you use a VPN service that offers port forwarding like PIA VPN? Just run a script to update your port number when it randomly changes.

**VIDEO GUIDE **WireGuard on Unraid. The Best Method for Routing Containers through a VPN for max privacy

This is a very slick solution, however it does have one sticking point, no incoming port assignment, especially for VPN providers that generate dynamic ports (PIA), that's going to be a problem for Soulseek and especially bittorrent. u/spaceinvaderone with your docker image, is there any chance you

I think I need a new VPN provider.

PIA support port forwarding but it's a real pain to set it up... I ended up with proton vpn, it was more easier to get the Conf file cause they provided an online tool for that... Also Found a step by step guide on another sub, let me know if you're interested, i'll post the link for you

PIA for qbittorent good?

I've been running PIA for years now with no issues. I run it from Windows Server 2025 and qbittorrent installed. Also, I run it with a split tunnel and have only qbittorrent run through the VPN. So far, after many years and GBs, everything is good.

Is it possible to host a LAN game over PIA?

PIA is not that sort of VPN - it doesn't route between clients, only offering access to the greater internet. Hypothetically you could port-forward and use your endpoint's public IP, but that'd just be a workaround vs using a VPN that's designed to route between clients directly.

They really just ruined the stuff I loved...

Nord or PIA (private internet access). What you're looking for is a VPN provider that confirms no logs and has been tested. Both of them have been proven in public court. I personally use PIA but am looking to swap to Nord in the near future when I stop being lazy about it. Learn how to bind your To

I dont have a VPN right now. If I get one will I be completely safe going forward? Or Did I mess it up for not using a vpn since the start?

You will know better than us whether copyright laws are enforced, or what the legal scenario is in Peru. In many Latin American countries a VPN isn't needed, but check for yourself. Also check what your agreement with your ISP says about P2P traffic, again, you are the best person to figure that out

Please teach me how to torrent... again (see description)

I would recommend qbittorent, which will likely be a popular opinion. It’s got a very good reputation security-wise, and it’s got perhaps the largest active user base so it should be reasonably easy to get help on any issues. As a disclaimer though I have only tried maybe 4 clients, of which Tixati
