Which Polar Watch to buy in 2025?

i went with the ignite 3. I had a vantage M (1) and didn't use a lot of the "advanced" features (altimeter, advanced tests, extra ram). I do miss the battery life. There are a lot of nice features with the newer polar watches (weather, sunrise/set info), but they sap energy and the bigger batteries

Aktiivisuusranneke

polar ignite 3:selle suositus! hinta on kyl melko tyyris (~220€), mutta aivan mahtava hinta/laatusuhde. laajasti unen ja treenien seurantaa, tosta stressitasojen seuraamisesta en kyl osaa sanoa mitään.. kevyt, tyylikäs ja tosi käytännöllinen kello

For those who used Polar and now have Coros

I'm not a Coros owner, but I did use Polar products for 6 years since the launch of the Vantage V1. I can confirm that Polar is slow to innovate (they truly aren't in the past 5 years) and their app is so, so incredibly dated. The feature-set they offer is often poor value as the competition will of

Strava: If you get rid of Garmin, I will get rid of you

Polar Ignite 3 is up over 40% from the previous model and over 70% from the original launched in 2019. I paid 419€ for my Instinct 3 Solar at launch. 2 Solar launched at 449€. That's a price decrease! Vivoactive 6 is 346€. Vivoactive 3 launched in 2017 for 329ish€? So it's not at all as black and wh

Strava: If you get rid of Garmin, I will get rid of you

Polar Ignite 3 was launched at $330, and Ignite 2 at $280. I have no idea how you can make that a 40% difference. In my math book that would be calculated (330-280)/280=18%. I agree that some models in specific price ranges have either been kept or even decreased. I guess that is due to competition

Polar Vantage M3 vs Suunto Run/Race S

To be clear, I don't dislike Polar and I think much of my criticism comes from wanting them to do well as I really enjoyed their products when they introduced the VV1 on up to the Pacer series. I simply feel their product line has suffered since they released the Ignite 3, lacking any real value in

Need help picking my first smartwatch

Polar does not support rep counting. For strength training there is only stop-start guide which optimises rest time between sets. Also no stress monitoring (besides nightly recharge which tells how recovered your body is, here Polar is state of the art) Polar excels in sleep and recovery, if you cho

Fitbit Life Expectancy and other options to consider

Just remember with other brands the price generally is much higher than a Fitbit. My Garmin FR165 was $300 while my Polar Ignite 3 was about $350. While they last longer, often you can simply replace your Fitbit every few years and come out about even. For example you can get a Finix 8 for about $10

Low profile - JawBone like tracker

Garmin Vivosmart 5, although it's more limited than higher end Garmin devices and has a small screen. Amazfit Helio is pretty light to me, I'd try it if you haven't yet. Polar is coming out with a band in September. I'm anxiously awaiting it. Polar Ignite 3 is pretty thin, but that's an AMOLED full
