Ignite 3

As a casual user, I like polar. Software is simple in my eyes, hardware is good and has no monthly subscriptions, which is a big plus. Polar also replaced my ignite 3 after the battery failed under warranty without a fuss. European brand, Finnish to be exact. All in all I think Polar is doing good b

Loved the devices but software totally overlooked. Ditched my Ignite 3 though I loved the look of the device. But the Ignite 3 and Polar Flow didn’t do enough. Really a sad situation.

I wouldn't consider that bragging about Garmin support or products. I'd consider that bragging about a user who consistently pushed support for several days and finally got them to agree to replace it. Good on the user, not so good on the vendor support. All kind of rumors last year new look was coming out for Android before end of 2025 with an update for iOS following in 2026. Polar never really said anything that I saw. Polar flow app for both Android and iOS remains outdated. My Ignite 3 remains desk bound as a result. Rocking Garmin again.

No solution, but I have the same issue on my ignite 3. When I start the training it says "session started" twice, the first km it also says twice and then no voice guidance for the other kms. It depends on the price. The Grit X2 Pro is from the same software line as the Vantage V3, which was released in October 2023. In its history, Polar has focused on minor improvements in its products for a year and a half after their release, with no new features (the exception here is the Ignite 3).
