abhsolutely agree with you, it just happened to my ignite 3 titanium and i can just throw it to garbage, its not cheap watch jesus... never going back to polar even tho i loved it but this is missleading, they never stated that in advance, i would never choose this model

Ignite 3 countdown timer not functional any more either after its firmware update in spring. I bought mine via ebay from protectionfilms24, "Protector Full-Cover for Polar Ignite 3 Curved Screen Edge Protection Film". It has notches but they don't bother me. And I swim with my watch, the screen shield is still on it's place. ☺️

Mine works fine after the update. But I have had a sudden drop in the battery life on my previous Ignite 3, sent it to polar to get diagnosed/fixed but ended up getting a new unit in its place. It drained 80+ percent of the battery in just one night. Guess the battery failed without any warning sign
