DC Rainker Review of the T-Rex 3 Pro
He's a Garmin fanboy, so yeah, the watch that people call a "garmin fenix killer" will probably not have a fair review. Ray’s been pretty critical of Garmin lately, but let’s be real — calling this (or the Coros Vertix 2S, or the Polar Grit X2) a “Fenix killer” is pure clickbait. It’s the same as ev

Help me choose my first Sportwatch
Two weeks ago, I bought Polar Grit X2 Copper. I upgraded from V800, which I bought used in January. In the last year, I bought H10 (HRM) and Stride Sensor. I considered different brands: Polar, Garmin, Coros, Amazfit, and Suunto. I researched information about their watches, read their subs, and tri

Polar Grit X2 or Suunto Race?
If your priority is guidance and long-term progress, go Polar Grit X2. • Coaching built in: FitSpark, Running Program, Cardio Load, Nightly Recharge. It turns data into day-to-day plans and tracks load over time. • Stronger analytics: Polar Flow’s web dashboard is dated visually but excellent for tr

My Suunto Ambit 3 has reachd EOL. And now?
Just switched from Suunto A3P to Polar Grit X2 Pro, also considered M3 but wanted the bigger screen as M3 seemed too small for me. And since Suunto sold their MoveSense business they no longer make HR chest straps, so would seem odd to buy Polar strap but Suunto watch for running. Also like idea of

Garmin vs Suunto
Hah, yeah every sportwatch company has pros and cons, so there is no "correct" answer :) But if I can have my two cents here. First of all I have used all of them, except Coros. I have had sportwatches since 2002, and I worked with polar and suunto in the past. But, I went from polar grit x pro -> s

The big leap
These are still great watches. I have Polar Grit X. Previously had Polar Vantage M. I personally do not want a super bright display, as these are more understated. These are great watches for multi sport, accurate GPS tracking, and I personally really like the Polar Flow app for its activity level t

Polar Vantage M3 vs Garmin Venu 4
Instinct 2 or 3 would be a good way to go Some people have literally run Jeeps over Instincts or thrown them off buildings Have owned Instinct and Instinct 2, they are tanks. Great for martial arts and bouldering, better then the Grit X2 maybe Grit X has some different metrics, kike temperature, and

Polar Grit X2 Pro vs Suunto Race 2
Hello 👋🏼 I have had the Grit X2 Pro since May 2024. Very precise in terms of the card 🗺️. I have done a lot of hikes, including one of 24 km in the Fontainebleau forest. The strength of Polar: very precise cardiac functions as well as sleep. Its strength: numerous tests to be carried out, see the manu

Weekly Buying/trading/selling advice, pre-orders and shipping Megathread
I’m considering getting an Apple Watch. I have had a polar grit X for several years and I have really enjoyed the activity tracking and trail map (line and compass really not topo). I use the Ordinance Survey maps on iOS and was hoping for a decent trail navigation option on the Apple Watch. Does an
