The pny CS900 has no problem yet it is slow but in simple storage it cannot be used in native OS

So, the PNY CS900 is a very low end laptop Sata SSD and not suitable for anything other then a low end workstation or a low end laptop. I would not use them for anything like ZFS or hosting VM disks. they are DRAM-Less and rely on the controller direct IO access to NAND no PLP, so they do not cache

I can, but the problem is its the pny cs900 ssd, only 240gb and runs around 500-550mb/s. Which is kinda slow in today's standard. Another problem is its my mom's old work laptop so idk if she wants to keep her documents on that storage lol

PNY CS900 is DRAMless. its just a low tier SSD. slowdown like this is expected.

So its a good thing i decided to switch my new 1 TB PNY CS900 1TB 2,5" SSD with a Samsung Evo SSD which i already had in my second pc for storage in the ps4 pro, i noticed a slowdown on the pc xD already. so i installed the Samsung instead of the newly bought SSD in the PS4 Pro.

You might find this helpful. The PNY CS900 appears to be of cheap overall quality hence poor performance is to be expected. If your mainboard supports, I would invest in a proper Gen4 NVMe instead of relying on a SATA SSD.

TLDR: Any modern performance SSD will feel about the same in real world use. Not the same model, I know, but this could be useful.I have been rocking my Intel Optane 900p drive since it had come out as my OS and SC drive. Recently I decided to test it against my Samsung 990 Pro and MSI Spatium M461;

Your stress tests mean nothing if the issue is intermittent and not load-dependent. Random stutter + freeze, no thermal throttle, normal usage readings? That screams storage I/O hiccups or power delivery instability. That PNY CS900 SSD is a known weak link. DRAM-less, budget-tier, and it WILL choke
