What is your go to gear for TRS or LRS (Lead/Top rope solo) ?
Hopefully OP means a Wild Country Revo and not a Petzl Reverso for LRS. Absolutely do not LRS with a Reverso.

Newbie Set Up
Wont go wrong with that harness, IMO best on the market. like the black diamond half dome Cheap does the job and not a horrible design, some of the petzl helmets look quite good I'm jealous of my friends meteor If they fit and are comfy enough to climb a for an extended period of time i think thats

Optimizing weight
I'm unwilling to not bring a grigri on any outdoor adventure because it's such a versatile piece of equipment. I'm also unwilling to not bring my reverso because I very-much prefer to belay from above with it over a grigri. Those two items are here to stay. Some of the nitty-gritty that I didn't get
