Finally the lens we’ve been waiting for! Any questions you have about it, fire them below…

Yeah of course! The SIGMA 45mm f2.8 is smaller but much heavier with it's metal build. It comes with an aperture ring (which is gorg) and a metal lens hood (super handy). The SIGMA 45 has very very noticeable focus breathing when shooting video. Not an issue for some people though I guess. I prefer

Why does Panasonic pump out premium m43 cameras but make the S9 so cheap and plastic?

It keeps the price down so they can target a budget segment, first time buyers, or people using it as a second camera. Every manufacturer doesn't have to cover every segment of the market. The S9 at this point is unmatched value for someone wanting a full frame hybrid especially if they lean more to

If the X100VI and the Lumix S9 had a baby with a 40mm f2 lens - would you buy this? 📸

I personally wouldn’t want fixed lens. The S9 has huge potential and I’m sure Panasonic will make it even better with the S9ii. I’d rather they take inspiration from the GX series. It needs a grip!

The Lumix S9 with the 18-40 is one of the most underrated combos ever.

Matt from Lumix recently stated the camera has far exceeded their expectations in terms of sales. It’s a really popular item for them. I got one myself recently, mainly to use as a EDC for video and to be able to take the occasional higher quality picture. Background: I started my Lumix journey with

Why has the GH Series fallen off the map?

The GH7 is the best hybrid MFT-camera on the market if you look at the features. It has 25MP, the best hand held high res and pretty good DR for stills. It has a video performance that is better than most other cameras in the price range. It is an extremely reliable work horse for people who need to

Lumix S9 Long-term Review (2nd Review after 400+ days)

Seriously. The reviews on the camera were devastating. If you consider all the other releases from other camera brands with less features and even higher price tags, it's crazy how much hate lumix gets from creators. I've only done 2 video projects on the S9 and I really liked it too. I didn't know

Should I consider buying a camera?

If you decide to buy a camera, I would go for some which would be easy to carry around, so you wouldn’t be annoyed by carrying the extra weight. Fo example I love my lumix s5 and nikon d7000 but I think twice whether I am willing to carry it around whole day with me while traveling. A good budget an

Lumix still an underdog?

I think for photo not yet, but for video has an amazing reputation for being great since the GH4 days. With that being said, despite it's rocky release, the S9 it's building a great name for photographers, as being an amazing Full Frame camera for the price and size, plus the kit lens from lumix are

Panasonic Lumix S1H II – mock-up of a possible FX3 / C50 killer

I feel like once you start getting into the realm of those specs + raw video, 4k240, 32bit float, XLR - you've somewhat left the need for having a compact handheld form factor because 90% of the time it's going to be rigged up, on set, with a team. At that point you might as well be using a box-styl

Osaka on the Lumix L10

It’s not as good as an S9 with a OIS lens but comparing it to the Canon V1 which also has just OIS it’s much better, there’s no wobbling in the corners and the camera also has Panasonic’s excellent e-stabilization as well. I’ll be sure to test the video more but from my first impressions I personall
