Finally the lens we’ve been waiting for! Any questions you have about it, fire them below…

Yeah of course! The SIGMA 45mm f2.8 is smaller but much heavier with it's metal build. It comes with an aperture ring (which is gorg) and a metal lens hood (super handy). The SIGMA 45 has very very noticeable focus breathing when shooting video. Not an issue for some people though I guess. I prefer

Lumix has 10% of the European Full Frame market and is growing

I got my S9 body with an extra battery for 900€ on sale. I was planning on getting another Fujifilm camera until I saw that I could save 500€ and enter the full frame market. Was never really considering Lumix until I saw the price, and so far I’ve been blown away with the S9. Safe to say, I’ll be s

The Lumix S9 with the 18-40 is one of the most underrated combos ever.

Matt from Lumix recently stated the camera has far exceeded their expectations in terms of sales. It’s a really popular item for them. I got one myself recently, mainly to use as a EDC for video and to be able to take the occasional higher quality picture. Background: I started my Lumix journey with

Immigrant from Canon, settled on S1M2. Never knew I would ever own Lumix! Any tips?

I agree.. I upgraded to R5M2 from R6 (mainly for the extra resolution for birding). But already picked up a S5M2X and S9 before the upgrade (for video and to have a lighter everyday camera). By now, for another body or upgrade (from S5M2X) I would rather want a S1M2 than a R6M3 or C50. Canon is nice

Buying my first camera (Lumix s9). Confused on which lens to get ?

I feel like the 20-60 is the best lens for the lumix s9 right now. Much better quality than the 18-40 but not as heavy as the 24-60

New 35mm f2.2 AF pancake lens

Of course, I JUST bought the Sigma i series 35/2 so you’re all welcome for that one haha. If image quality is good, this will be a perfect EDC lens. We definitely need more options like this for the S9, though I’d love to see some from Lumix or Sigma.

S9 Purchased

Got this in a few days ago after using an S5II for a year now. I got it to replace my B-cam, which is a S5. I've gotten addicted to using LUTs and the Lumix Lab app so the S5 wasn't quite cutting it in terms of ease of use as I had to use the old Sync app to bring stuff over and manually apply LUTs.

Anybody go from S5IIX to S1RII?

I switched from Sony (a7r5, a1) to Panasonic last year. Picked up the s5iix and a few lenses. I fell in love with video on that camera, and for photos is was pretty good, but nothing I would write home about coming from those two Sony bodies. I’ve since purchased the s9 (which I love for a small wal

Finally got my first Lumix! S5II with 24-60mm f2.8

Your setup will definitely depend on your primary intended use case. Photo or Video primarily? Ewan Bell has some setup videos where he goes through his settings. I can't recall if he has one for the S5II specifically, but the S9 stands out in my memory and it's basically the same thing, so might be

Korean Ambassador of Lumix admits that there is a Embargo about new products

^ this, I still use my canon 5D from 2014. The lumix S9 is significantly better product than that, with portability. The quality this camera provides is way ahead of its times. You should be good to use this camera for at least 10 years if you take care of it.
