Switching to Lumix S1RII (or S1II) for professional photography?
I sold all my Sony gear and switched to the S1R2 The ergonomics are better Image stabilization is best in class Image quality has some magic Hybrid zoom for video is insane, giving you a lot of versatility with lenses and the s1RII It's a true Photo /Video powerhouse, don't let the "rolling shutter"

LUMIX S1RII with NiYien sensflow A1 test for rolling shutter.
The NiYien Senflow A1 hardware (tiny box that fits in the hotshoe) doesn’t have a way for you to see the frame of the finalized post production result. The NiYien Tool software used with the A1 hardware is closely tied to GyroFlow. In fact you have to install the nightly build of GyroFlow during the

BMCC6K vs Lumix S1Rii 8k BRAW image?
I have a Pyxis 6K and a S1II (not S1RII). The OLPF really does make the difference. Helps take the edge off the 6K sensor and moire is quite noticeable on the Lumix cameras. S1II / S1RII footage is oversharpen, even the “raw” is quite sharp (but better than H.264). The theory is that Panasonic neede

Sold the Lumix S1R II for the S5 II - verdict 6 months later
My understanding, and it could be incorrect as Panasonic is so secretive about these details, is that the thermal sensor of the image sensor was too sensitive and proactively ended recording well before any concern to the sensor. Panasonic LUMIX had to experiment with determining what that correct l

Canon to Lumix s1rii anyone? How are the colors!
Colors with the S1RII, especially for video, are SO much better than Canon. I used Canon for almost 25 years, but now switched fully to Lumix and Blackmagic. The S1RII is rumored to use the same sensor as the DJI Ronin 4D 8K. To me, the colors are just as good, if not a little bit better, than the B

Canon to Lumix s1rii anyone? How are the colors!
Sincere to be crop is a no problem for any DP out there. Arri Alexa is super35 camera, so crop would be a no problem. If you want to keep quality high you just need good codecs in ALL-I/ ProRes format which Lumix is very good at it. S5II has way better autofocus even for stills than 6D mark II so if

Need help for a first M
Well, for Boudoir photography the M would be the last camera I would think of. Low light, slightly moving object, limited range of focal length ... I do Boudoir photography as well and I'm happy with my SL2S and for a couple of month I have the Lumix S1RII which is a fantastic tool with it's LUT Man

Struggling to Choose Between the FX3 and the C50 — Need Some Advice
The FX3 is good in lowlight and I agree it’ll probably be better than the C50. I do want to point out that the FX3 while still very good is not the lowlight king. That being said I think if you record ProRes RAW which disables noise reduction you’ll see the sensor is still very good but not the best

Nikon Z8 vs Lumix S1R II – Anyone shot both? Which would you choose any why?
I have both but also the S1II and I just sold my Z6III. I wanted to sold my Z8 too but I'm not sure since the new firmware update of the S1RII. I thought we would get 8K Prores Raw but it is still cropped. The truth is the Z8 has better video quality than the S1RII since it can record in full frame P
