Nuobell S5100 or Rep Peppins
Reppins go higher, and higher quality with drop rating. Nuobell will be easier. I've had mine since black Friday and haven't had an issue with em, haven't dropped em tho either. Money as no object id go Reppin

Switch from Nuobell S5100 to the REP x Pepin
I had the Nuobbell 580s first for 6 months and they feel way better than the Rep x Peppins I got afterward. The cage does get in the way of RDLs and Overhead tricep extension The think handles are nice for pressing kind of, but annoying for rows. They are more compact at higher weights. This is thei

Adjustable dumbbells for garage gym
I have the IM. Wife didn't like them so I got her a set of Nuobells. She's back to using the IMs more now. It's easier to use lower increments on the IMs. I originally got them for that reason, doing rehab work. Those combined with Rogue rubber fractional plates, they can go up in increments of 0.25

Dumbbell set or adjustable dumbbell
Depends. If money and space were no issue, I’d go with a set. But, with adder weights like microgains so I’d only get dumbbells in ten pound increments. Simple to grab and use, very balanced. If space and money are a concern, I’d go adjustable, with a stand. Much less space. Love my PowerBlocks, but

Adjustable dumbbells
I chose Nuobell s5100. I wanted 5lb increments. Super happy with them. I don’t drop my weights. Feel well made and the quick change is amazing.

Wanting to start lifting and start a home gym. Need advice on starting.
I say always start small, but invest in good pieces. This lets you gauge how committed you can be with a home gym, or if the space is better used for something else. By investing in good pieces you are either buying once, crying once, or able to sell more easily if you decide to go a different direc

Best Adjustable Dumbbells Set?
I've had the nuobells and sold them to use their proceeds to get the Reppins. As you mentioned there are trade offs for any item, but the driving force for my switch was durability- the knowledge of knowing I can safely bail out of a lift and not be SoL by breaking plastic components was a relief. Need Adjustable Dumbbell Recommendations!!!
I’d really like to get my hands on the Rep Pepin dumbbells. However, I have the Nuobell 580’s and I love them! They’re solid and easily adjustable. They’re also $330 cheaper than the Pepins. Nuobell also just released the S 5100 model that goes up to 100lbs. Again, it is $300 cheaper than the Rep Pe

Need Adjustable Dumbbell Recommendations!!!
I have Nuobells 5-80. No problems for two years. Microgainz plates offer 2.5lb increments. Nice with dbs.

Adjustable dumbbells. An experienced users opinion.
That's fair, it all depends. I do drop sets too and have no problem doing that with Nuobells, Powerblocks & even Quickdraws. But it all depends on your way of doing it, weight used, exercise etc. But personally I'd never want fixed dumbbells, I don't want a home gym to feel like a commercial gym, I
