Philip Bloom has found some interesting noise issues.

It’s been said before, but I think the ZR is already being pushed to capacity given that it doesn’t have an active cooling system. Compression takes more CPU bandwidth than simply handling more uncompressed data even though the data rates are larger. There seems to me to be little reason for Nikon n

Will Lumix Panasonic Bring the Next Big Leap? It is time for a S1H II.

Alright, let’s break this down.APPLE PRORES RAW is finally running smoothly in DaVinci Resolve 20.2. Yeah, the files are huge, BUT LUMIX is literally the only brand that lets you dump those massive files straight onto an external SSD.And honestly—unless you’re shooting FEATURE FILMS or some insanely

We asked camera companies why their RAW formats are all different and confusing | A universal open-source format exists, but only a handful of cameras use it

MacOS can’t view my Nikon Z6iii files in finder and it’s incredibly annoying. The cameras been out a year or so now. My older Z bodies are supported and I don’t recall having to wait for an update so not sure why it’s got worse?!

So Long to the Z7 Platform?

On a settings banks equipped modern camera (EXPEED 5 and later at least, might go back to the EXPEED 4), you can also set it to change between banks with a simple button+dial with your eye to the finder and immediate feedback, just like you'd adjust exposure compensation or ISO. There are also numer

Is the Z6III right for me?

TL;DR: If you’re coming from a Canon T7 and want pro-level autofocus without the $2,500+ price tag of a Z6 III or A7 IV, the Nikon Z5 II is the move. 1.Better "Brains" than Sony (The AF Argument) While Sony has historically led the AF game, the Z5 II inherited the EXPEED 7 processor from the flagshi

https://www.dpreview.com/news/0156322200/nikon-temporarily-suspends-its-z6iii-content-credential-program The last firmware update introduced "content creditials" which is supposed to be a new bit of metadata that tells whether ai was used in making the image or not. It seemed to be bugged on the imp

Lumix S5iix vs S1 ii vs Nikon Z6 iii for event and documentary shooting?

Also bare in mind that the video on Z6iii doesnt record to both SD cards(only in photo), so youre not protected on important events like with the S5iiX. This can be bypassed by getting a recorder for Nikon but yeah that was a dealbreaker for me.

Question: I'm about to buy my first camera and I have a question about Nikon colour science

If you go with Nikon, take a look at the Z5ii. It's cheaper than the Z6iii, and I suspect it would fit your needs. Spend the savings on a better lens.

Nikon Z70

You're moving the goalposts. You suggested buying a Z6iii, in place of a top-of-the-line DX body. I pointed out that that might not be an optimal choice, if you were looking for reach. Now you're claiming that D500 sales dropped, after the D850 came out. I have not seen data like that. Can you point
