Sunflower Galaxy 🌻

A little above 7h of total exposure on this beautiful but rather dim galaxy :)

Stack in Sequator, removing gradients with GraXpert, Pixinsight for some arcsinh stretches, and photoshop for further editing.

It was dim and rather difficult to process. I had walking noise too but managed to stomp it

Dad surprised me with a Nikon z50 ii

We went around the mall thinking he was gonna buy a new camera for himself but it was actually for me😭 Super grateful to have a parent that support and share this hobby.

I already had a Nikon D7000 so transitioning from a DLSR to mirrorless is a huge jump for me lmao, feels like I’m learning how to

What are your thoughts on this photo?

When I first thought of this composition it felt really interesting and I liked it, now that I look at it, it feels boring. Silhouette taken with Nikon z50 1/320s f/11 iso 125

Bird photographer looking for a new camera

I've been photographing for 11 years, for the past 6 years I turned to birds. For all these years I've used Nikon D3200 that I received as high school graduation gift. Started with nature and landscapes using kit lens, then got 55-300mm Nikkor lens and with that got into wildlife photography. Six ye

Nikon Z50 50-250mm Kit

For my 21st birthday my family generously purchased the Z50 kit with the 50-250mm and 16-50mm lenses. Being new to photography but having a passion for it I dipped my toes in everything from plants and insects to aviation and cars. This kit has to be one of the greatest experiences of my life being

As a father to a racing son, I’ve taken many roles. When he moved up to cars, I couldn’t turn wrenches any more so I took up photography

I’ve been in it for a year now and have always admired automotive photographers, I never saw myself as one, but it’s just wanting to see my kid reach his potential that has motivated me

I’m still a novice, but continually learning. I loved cars as a kid, so this is a dream come true.

Some astrophotography with the Z50

Thought I'd post these astrophotography images of the neighbouring Andromeda galaxy and the slowly departing bright comet Tsuchinshan Atlas I captured recently.

These were both captured using a basic startracker and the Nikon Z50.

The optics were a 440mm focal length doublet refractor telescope fo
