Which setup for wildlife?

Hi guys,

I can't decide on a new setup.

Short version:

Which is better for wildlife and bird photography (no video)?
Nikon Z50 II with the Z 180-600mm or the Sony A6600 (used) with the FE 200-600mm
They seem to be on a very similar level in terms of performance and cost the same.

Long versio

More APS-C mirrorless options coming?

This comes up pretty regularly here. We're all just guessing, but the consensus is that Nikon will continue to make a small number of entry-level (Z50) or special-purpose (Z30, Zfc) APS-C bodies, but unlikely to have a broad range, and very unlikely to have a top-end body (Z500).

Foggy street in industrial area

Thank you! It was taken with a Nikon Z50 and it was pretty dark. My settings weren't optimal either - I was on my way home by bike, it was freezing cold and I just stopped for a quick shot because I loved how the lights looked in the fog. Had to take off my gloves to use the camera and somehow while

In practice, how much better is the low light performance of full frame in comparison to APSC really? (especially when using zoom lenses)

I'm mostly photographing concerts semi professionally but I'm currently only using a Nikon z50 with the sigma 18-35 1.8 and a couple primes. I use the Sigma for 90% of the time tho. Now most people would probably reccomend full frame cameras for concerts because of their better low light performance

Are we even remotely close to a Nikon Z50 upgrade?

I reckon putting IBIS and the new processor in a Z50 would put it too close to the Z5. Nikon can’t compete within their own lineup. With Full Frame becoming cheaper than ever I don’t think we’ll see a elaborate APS-C line up like we saw on the F mount days. Ultimately Z50 will get a refresh but I th

Nikon Z50 or Sony A6400 for low light photography ?

Hello guys, I need some help to choose a new camera.

I have recently started bar/event/nightclub photography as a side job, which means very low light environnement, tight spaces, strobes and sometimes fog machines.

I currently own a NikonD7000 with a 18-105 F3.5-5.6 NIKKOR lens and Yongnuo Speedl

Should I buy Sony a6400 or Nikon Z50II ?

It's definitely not "much better".it's also using a sensor from 2019 and lower res than Sony. Image & AF**:** Sony A6400 wins : sharper pics, faster autofocus, and better low light. Video : Nikon Z50 II is newer, has 4K 60 Battery**:** Sony lasts longer
