How do I get sharper images in daylight?

I have been noticing when I’ve been shooting landscapes scenes that I am having real trouble with my camera picking up leaves and general detail in pictures. The leaves for example nearly all seem to just mould into noisy looking mush. I have been particularly struggling mentally with this when edit

Black-crowned night heron

Nikon Z50, AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR.

1/1000, ISO 1800, 500 mm.

My keeper rate was under 4% yesterday. Frustrating, but I did get this shot.

Snapbridge app, does it work seamlessly now in 2025? About to buy my first Nikon.

The Z50/Zfc/Z30 all have EXPEED6, which was released in 2018. It was behind the times in 2018, and although Nikon did a lot to make EXPEED6 cameras less awful than they were at release, they're still "usable" at best. EXPEED7, on the other hand, is competitive with Sony and Canon today. Unless you'r

Z50II + Z 180-600mm Sharpness/Focus Issues

Please forgive my complete ignorance as I am very new to all of this (I just got into this less than 4 months ago).

A few months back I bought a Nikon Z50 II and a Nikon Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 to document bird sightings, with the hopes that I'd develop more photography skills as time goes on.

I'll

Something wrong with my new 6k pro?

I just bought a BMPCC 6k Pro second hand I did a really quick test just as I brought it home and I can’t tell if there’s something up with it. I’ve attached pictures of it at 800 & 1250 ISO and a picture of the room to show what the lighting is actually like.

Could it be the fact that I’m using N

What do you use the fold for day to day?

I have a Nikon Z50 with a bunch of lenses. I have a Z Fold 6. I still wish the Z Fold 6 had a better camera. If my kid is running around inside in the evening doing something hilarious, I don't want to have to run and get my SLR camera. That's the entire purpose of a phone camera - convenience.

Anyone return to DSLR after using mirrorless?

I went from Mirrorless to DSLR myself! I never got the opportunity to use a DSLR during my photography journey when I started 2 years ago, so taking a step back and starting from zero. I had all the Mirrorless cameras, Sony A6600, Nikon Z50,Z5,Z6,Z7. All of them were nice but they lacked a soul that

Are we even remotely close to a Nikon Z50 upgrade?

Seriously, it has been 4 years since the Z50 came out, and other manufacturers have already released around two new models in the same price segment in that time frame, whereas Nikon is still trying to milk the Z50 without any new offerings for entry-level customers.

Not every buyer can splurge $$$

Help, autofocus issues nikkor z 50mm 1.8 S

Help, my 50 mm 1.8 S prime lens produces the most beautiful still photographs. But my goodness am I so frustrated with the autofocus. I shoot fast moving subjects (kids typically toddlers and families) on a Nikon Z50. My last couple shoots the autofocus failed me and I’m very frustrated. Shutter spe

Advice with Hasselblad XDC 100C

Hey guys around May or June 2025 I splashed out on an XDC 100C, (just out my return policy the XDC 100C 2 came out too wish I’d waited in hindsight).

The camera is beautiful, but I have two questions; it might be me being stupid as it was a step up from my Nikon Z50, but I notice on a lot of the ph
