Selling my Fuji X100VI for a Nikon Zf

I own both and use both as my only digi cams. the ZF is a lot bigger then the x100vi, add in a 24-120 and the difference is huge. They're just different cameras, the x100vi comes with me everywhere, is fun, comes to parties etc, I don't edit the photos off it. The Nikon ZF is huge, but comes with me

How to cary a camera, how to travel first (or just enjoy the moment) and take photos second, without transforming the trip to a photo session.

Get a simpeler smaller camera is usually my recommendation. Something that you can put in a pocket, and don't need a bag for. Something that doesn't need you to bring extra lenses etc.The more you bring, the more cumbersome it is to use, the more it will become a center in your travels. Also, having

Nikon Z 50mm f/1.8 S or Fujifilm XF 35mm f/1.4 R ?

If size and weigh is a concern why don’t you make one of your two systems compact? Nikon ZF + 50mm 1.8 Fuji X-E3 23mm f2 or similar compact Fuji instead of the larger X-H1 Just a thought.

OM-5 mki or OM-3 for a “Dad cam”?

Another Dad here with young kids: I have an OM5i and the Panasonic 12-35 2.8 is on the camera 80% of the time. I use the 25mm 1.7 for indoor birthdays etc but I’d much rather something wider and brighter like Panasonic 15mm 1.7 or Oly 20mm 1.4. I think a nice bright lens beats the autofocus improvem

OM-3 and Nikon ZF

Own the om3 have used the zf and use other Nikon full frame regularly. I own much more capable bodies from all brands and the om3 gets used a lot. I would pretty strongly recommend the om3. Specific to the picture profiles. The om3 creative dial is favourite feature and I use it consistently. Once y

Big sibling 16/1.8 next to 13/1.4!

Why buy the 16mm 1.8? It’s massive and the same price as a used Fuji 16mm 1.4 This sounds a bit confusing you're making it sound like Fuji 16 1.4 is an alternative option on my Nikon Zf which of course it isn't. I switched to Nikon and so of course I need the full frame version for my Nikon. The 16

Why do so many people dislike kit lenses?

Depends on which kit lens. Not all kit lenses are created the same. Those plasticky 18-55 APS-C for entry level DSLRs? Ew. Really slow. 18 on APS-C is not wide enough. Immediately useless when you get a fast prime. Aren't worth anything when trying to get rid of them. But Fuji 18-55? Awesome. [email protected]

Have a Z9 considering a Zf

If you want something truly small and light, the Z50ii will give you a lot of the performance of the Z9 in a tiny package. Combine it with some of Nikon’s DX lenses for a very nimble package. If you want truly small and light but retro aesthetics and control - and if you don’t mind taking a step bac

Am i crazy for wanting a zf so badly when the z6iii is available for pretty much the same price?

I was in the exact same position as you are right now. If it's for work, get the Z6iii because you need to maximize the performance that you can get with the money that you have. If it's for hobby or daily activities, choose the camera that makes you wanna shoot. I ended up with the Zf. I chose it o

What compact with big sensor...?

Any of Nikon's smaller full frame Z system cameras with Expeed 7 will be a good choice as an upgrade for the D850: Z5ii, Z6iii, Zf (if you want that old school look over modern good ergonomics). The Z8 is like a slightly smaller version of the D850 so is probably not what you're looking for. edit: m
