I own both and use both as my only digi cams. the ZF is a lot bigger then the x100vi, add in a 24-120 and the difference is huge. They're just different cameras, the x100vi comes with me everywhere, is fun, comes to parties etc, I don't edit the photos off it. The Nikon ZF is huge, but comes with me

I use both systems extensively. I switch between xt5, z8, xt20, xt 30, etc. If you're not a jpeg soc shooter, it's a significant improvement using Nikon. Full frame files from my z8 beat my xt5 images, despite the small difference in megapixels. I'm not sure what raw editor you use, but Lightroom ne

Yes, of course it's relevant. It didn't break when the newer models came out. IQ isn't and issue and hasn't been for around 15 years. Pretty much every full-frame camera from every brand has had pretty much the same IQ during this time--the Canon 5D mark iii was probably the last camera with previou

Another Dad here with young kids: I have an OM5i and the Panasonic 12-35 2.8 is on the camera 80% of the time. I use the 25mm 1.7 for indoor birthdays etc but I’d much rather something wider and brighter like Panasonic 15mm 1.7 or Oly 20mm 1.4. I think a nice bright lens beats the autofocus improvem

I have the XT5 and tried my brother's Zf for a bit. Image quality and pixel peeping, I actually found the XT5 sharper which was very important to me since I'm a pixel peeper. Maybe because I wasn't using it right or because I wasn't using one of the S lenses. I remember before my brother using his N

No one can really tell you what's right for you and your use cases, so this may involve some trial and error on your part. See if you can rent before buying to get a feel for each camera. I made the mistake of buying based entirely off the technical specs and online reviews and I got a Sony A7RV. No

Hey! I’ve used the OG Z50 as well as the Z5, Zf, and Z8. I will say this: the Z50 with the DX 24mm f/1.7 prime felt like it weighed nothing. Meanwhile, the Zf with the 26mm f/2.8 - the lightest lens I have for it - is definitely noticeable. I would carry the Z50 with 16-50 or 24 in hand with a wrist

It depends. I can't speak much for the next but I have a Zf and had an a7iv so I can speak to those. Do you shoot raw or jpg? If jpg, you will like the gfx, the sheer number of great recipes out there will give you some fun options the Nikon and Sony won't give you. It also depends on which vintage

I’m on the side that the Nikon Zf’s exposure control method is better than Fujifilm’s X-T series cameras. Fujifilm is geared towards a user that wants to have to turn dials every time, all the time. On the Zf, I like being able to sit in Aperture Priority until I need a specific shutter speed; in wh

I recently got the z5ii after owning a d7200 and a fuji x pro 2. I also work at a camera store selling gear part time. Here's my thought: There is 0 reason to purchase another full frame that costs more money than a z5ii imo. It has the same internal guts as the Zf, image quality is nearly identical
