What I’ve learning from this sub…

I sell mattresses for a living. 97% of my customers are happy with what they get the first time and have zero problems. Don’t buy gimmick, cheap, or marketing brands (Zinus, Dreamcloud, Nectar, Puffy) or overpriced mainstream brands (Beautyrest, Serta, to a lesser degree TempurPedic) and you’ll prob

Full Size Mattress Recommendations

Look, there’s advertisement issues for sure, but Reddit’s also a huge echochamber, there’s a consensus on a fave product every couple of months and that gets recced to death. For now, its Brooklyn Bedding, even though I think they’re overhyped as hell, so there’s probably gonna be a lot of comments

She's Back: Florida woman faces new charges for $17k in damage due to #1 on 5/20/26

looks up mattresses "King, Nectar: $849" looks at estimates Ain't no way it's seven thousand dollars for two mattresses, and another nine thousand for two couches. Bro, it's an AirBnB, why are you furnishing it like you're never gonna have to replace anything? Also, I just don't believe those things

Any ideas?

First if all it's nectar. Even if it was made last night, it is still a low quality foam/hybrid mattress. It already has a relatively short lifespan anyway. If you are getting a price that is 1/3 of the normal sale price ir less, you bought a disposable mattress that you can simply throw away after

Saatva vs Helix vs DreamCloud vs Nectar

Saatva has one of, if not the, worst warranties in the industry and is a mid grade mattress advertised (heavily) as luxury. Helix is okay but you’re paying a bit for all the online advertising they do. Other brands from the same company (3Z) are a better value. Nectar and Dreamcloud are both low tie

Anybody have a Sleep Number bed?👀 Might wanna check underneath

Best bed I ever bought was a nectar bed, it was so comfortable, plus the price came with a set of sheets, 2 memory foam pillows and a mattress cover, it was so incredibly comfortable, I got some of the best nights of sleep ever on that bed.

I’m just DONE

I totally understand your frustration and why you’re done. It makes sense that spending only 10 minutes each on what feels like 20 different mattresses, they absolutely start to feel identical. It is not your imagination, it is deliberate. Mattress companies design some of their showroom models to p

20+ Year Mattress Insider: AMA

So much has changed in the last 2 years due to consolidation in manufacturing. 3Z has acquired several brands and now operate under one roof. Typically, most products that come from that plant are good quality. As they integrated into both their foam and their spring production. I’ve known them for

Why don't mattresses last 10 years anymore and instead only 5 years?

I've been in the industry over 25 years. I probably don't have more than 1-2 warranties a year. I dont sell name brands (they are garbage now and all are owned by private equity groups), I dont carry cheap online beds (dreamcloud, nectar, etc...) and I stick to regional american made mattresses with

Is there anyone who actually loves their Nectar mattress a couple years in?

We bought the Nectar Legacy 12” back in July 2024. We paid about $675 for it since it was a prime day deal. I genuinely love it. My husband wanted a really expensive tempurpedic before this mattress, but I couldn’t justify spending $5k+. My parents have the same nectar mattress and said they loved i
