I should probably make a post explaining everything in more detail, I just rarely have so many free hours to spend to write it all up. But here are a few short points: If we are talking about absolute best screens where production costs do not matter, like professional reference monitors that cost $

There are various generations of QD-OLED so I'd consider something recent and wide 2k 34" Gen3 or Gen4I'd suggest MSI MPG 341CQPX, it's the most solid pick right now. There are also new QD-OLED 34" Gen 5 5120x2160 5k2k panels with 360hz from both LG and Samsung, so monitors should be available aroun

UW or 4k depends on your setup and what it can handle and the games you play, and how much you value the overall longevity of your system vs resolution quality. There's a big gap in how taxing 1440p vs UW 1440P vs 4k is on your system. Burn-in is usually a non-issue for most people if they put any am

Burn-in would definitely be an issue but most manufacturers do offer a pretty hefty warranty, I know Alienware is like 3 years unless you disable their OLED care features. Edit: I just remembered that Monitor's Unboxed have a mini-series where they test OLED burn-in on their productivity monitor ove

So annoying to switch on and off. msi mpg 341cqpx for 6-8 months now. Everything blasted. HDR always on. HDR up scaling on when using it with my mac (better display) My only complaint is lack of brightness for work on a mac and better display solved that. Windows handles hdr better. Sure you can bab

you have the budget to get an OLED if you get the cheaper pre-build I suggested in my other reply:https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zrNYcf/msi-mpg-341cqpx-qd-oled-340-3440-x-1440-240-hz-curved-monitor-mpg-341cqpx-qd-oled fantastic picture quality without the smearing/ghosting effect you get from most

yeah especially for 1440p i really don't think it's worth going from a 4090 to a 5090 - there's not a single (remotely optimized) game your 4090 would struggle on at 1440p - I mean I have a 9070xt and don't struggle on any game, so you're definitely okay. In general, you should only upgrade when you

Keyboards are moreso sound and feel based. Definitely look at reviews for some like Keychron, Epomaker, Royal Kludge, etc. I have an Epomaker P75 with Wisteria Linears and it’s amazing. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ybLBfd Id do this for the PC itself. 9800X3D, current best gaming CPU (other than 98

MSI MPG 341CQPX QD-OLED Only complaint is that it seems like the main coating was not put on 100% flat, there are a few very tiny air bubbles or places where the background color isn't uniform to the whole monitor. These are very small spots and totally invisible when the monitor is on, only visible
