Ally running SteamOS, Portal with Cloud Game Streaming and MSI Claw 8 AI+ for all the hardcore AAA stuff. We are spoiled for choice.

Short answer: Yes Long answer: Yes. Bigger screen, better speakers, bigger battery, better performance in AAA titles, and better battery life (by a mile) in indie titles. In fact, I think I got about 7hrs playing Dead Cells. It. Just. Wouldn't. Die. If it wouldn't be for atrocious MSI Centre M (it d

I might of broke my Xbox ally

It’s just IPS glow / backlight bleed very common on the original ROG Ally / Ally X models as well as the new Xbox-branded ones. The display will always have some level of this effect. Some units are minimal, while others can be worse. The one at the bottom is from adhesive under the display causing

“What is the best handheld gaming device to buy as of March 2026?” MSI Claw AI+ 7/8 ,Rog X

I'll give my opinion as someone who owns multiple handhelds, including the ROG Ally / Xbox Ally X and all models of the MSI Claw. Since you already have a good PC, the first thing to think about is whether you actually need a handheld. Yes, it's great for portability, but do you realistically plan t

Medieval Dynasty - Official Guide?

Thanks for the link and for the setting clarification! I need a guide of course, as I play on a portable PC MSI Claw A1M with a 7" screen fonts are almost unreadable for me on the Knowledge tab.

Tempted need advice

I own multiple handhelds, and my personal favourite is the MSI Claw 8 AI+. It's expensive at times, but you can often find it on sale. The Intel Core Ultra 7 258V delivers great performance, and the build quality is excellent. Depending on where you live, you can also find the older MSI Claw A1M mod

A Message to FDev:

While ED runs well on the Steam Deck, I would recommend a handheld with 1080p resolution instead of the 720p of the SteamDeck, as smaller font might otherwise be hard to read. Personally, I use a 1st gen MSI Claw A1M, those are dirt cheap, and the hardware is more than enough for ED.

Opinions on 7 inch screens?

I own multiple handhelds, and after using larger displays, it’s very hard to go back to a 7-inch screen like the ROG Ally, Ally X, MSI Claw A1M, Zotac Zone, etc. The 7.4-inch display on the Steam Deck OLED is basically the smallest acceptable size for a handheld, in my opinion. Anything smaller than

Xbox PC - Low resolution on ROG Ally HDMI.

I'm having the same issue in handheld mode on an MSI Claw A1M. It runs beautifully, but w/ an obviously lower-than-set internal res. I'm on the Microsoft Store version of the game (via Game Pass), but I found a post on the Steam forums that seems like a good clue: [Steam Deck docked resolution stuck

How is your Steam Deck doing ?

I've got MSI Claw A1M and... 1080p/120hz screen, 1TB nvme and hall sticks are nice, but at the end of the day, Steam OS makes experience way more seamless and polished than janky, bloated Windows 11 with various MSI overlays that constantly have issues. On top of that, the Claw power draw vs perform

Switch 2 vs XAX

HDR Screen of the Switch 2 and 8" oh and also DLSS. It poped my eyes when played the FF VII Remake Demo on Switch 2 vs MSI Claw A1M. Technically i found the MSI Screen better calibrated than the one of ROG Ally, as i Own a ROG Xbox Ally. Msi claw is more powerfull but the Switch 2. Despite an horrib
