Xbox Rog ally x disappointment

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. He already owns MSI Claw 8 AI+ which is amazing device. Why would he bother to get Xbox Ally X in his case??

I have 1000$ to spend on a handheld - what should I buy

Gosh man, people still recommending the steam deck is a little frustrating. He has 1000 dollars, and can easily afford something with far, far more performance than a steam deck but nope. For OP, I would recommend the Xbox ally x or MSI claw 8ai+

Star Wars Outlaws Switch 2 Additional Handheld Gameplay. Space Combat and Return to Toshara

https://youtu.be/s1moOXfyEpI?si=5ETt1V_Tr8M3-FqR How it runs on the MSI claw 8, a 1000$ handeld. The switch 2 is hella solid.

Would you still purchase the Legion Go 2 if the retail price is over $1000?

I can't go over 800-900 for a handheld. That's the reason I just bought secondhand Msi claw 8 ai+ as the z2e models are similar in performance to the Intel chip, which will hold me over the next 2-3 years or more. I already have a buyer for the LeGo so I can recoup some of the funds

Introducing Advanced Shader Delivery

This is why competition is good. You can be a Steam Deck, Ally X, MSI Claw, Lenovo etc fan but in the end it's good that a company like Valve doesn't dominate the space. We wouldn't be getting these great new advancements without lots of companies in this space.

What's the best handheld on the market that's not the Xbox Rog ally x?

Depends on your use case and what you prioritize in a handheld: Legion Go 2: 8.8" OLED VRR screen but expensive MSI Claw 8 AI+: Best power efficiency (aka battery life) due to Lunar Lake architecture, while still having Z2E equivalent performance GPD Win 5/OneX Apex: Expensive Strix Halo handhelds o

Is the steam deck way better than I think it is?

The term "better" is so broad, but the pros of Steam Deck are: light and portable OLED screen sleep button works like a charm good support for Steam So, this is a very good device for: Busy people/ parents over 30s: dont have stamina/energy for long PC session, need sleep/quick resume button because

Xbox Ally X -- WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

The hate is beyond logic... XAX has the same specs with MSI claw 8 but with AI variant of the chip that will have auto sr and a smaller screen and in Europe it costs 150€ less and more than 400€(!!!) less than legion go 2. Yes it has the inferior screen but its way cheaper than all other handhelds.

Comparing the ROG Xbox Ally X to other handhelds. Does it compete with the higher end or lower end matket [Strictly Performance Only; Don’t look at Value]

Comparing to what? Xbox Rog Ally X will be using Z2 Extreme chip with some AI features, we'll see what kind of software support the AI features will have but that's mostly a semi empty promise in my opinion. Z2 Extreme is the common high end APU chip and you'll find the same chip in the legion go 2,
