This seems kind of bad...
That's good to hear. I don't use it myself (I use Mullvad), but knowing they operate on Mullvad servers made it a decent recommendation in my eyes. I actually do think I am technically subscribed to Mozilla VPN because I pay them for Mozilla Monitor, so maybe I will give it a try. I mainly subscribe

"VPN". Did they say if we will be able to swtich cities or countries with that "VPN"?
This VPN implementation seems borderline useless. It is more of a "protecting data" VPN (the traffic goes through Mozilla servers instead of the IPS company?) rather than a full-fledged VPN. The thing is that in the full Mozilla VPN you can switch countries. I think it is a missed opportunity. It wo

What’s new now, and what’s coming soon
My brain is also scrambling because I don´t know what people know and don´t know but: The Firefox "VPN" here is only a proxy. Mozilla has their Mozilla VPN, which is just Mullvad VPN (best VPN on the market) with a Mozilla logo. Mozilla VPN didn´t "fail", but it is not as popular because it's "objec

Mad at Meta? Don't Let Them Collect and Monetize Your Personal Data
Did you though? I followed their instructions to delete my account 17 years ago. I logged in a couple of years after that and everything was just as I left it. Made a pretty comprehensive effort to sever ties after that. Recently installed Mozilla VPN. It reports that FB is still tracking me.

Vpn on fedora (what should i use?)
The only VPN service that I trust is Mullvad. However, I also have my own Wireguard server to remotely access my LAN. Edit: Also I will also recommend Mozilla VPN. It is not as private as Mullvad, but they do use Mullvad's servers. I have used it here and there because it came included with Mozilla

MacOS VPN without Electron
There’s good Electron and bad Electron. For years I’ve used Mozilla VPN (a rebadged version of Mullvad) and have not had any issues with the app. Right now it’s taking up 0.8% CPU and 140 Mb memory. Much more important to me is the transparency, security and privacy protections (e.g. no logs kept) o

A free VPN you can trust, now built into Firefox
Completely understand this sentiment and we’ve shared concerns about so-called “free VPNs,” which often rely on advertising or selling user data. Built-in VPN is designed differently. It does not sell your browsing data and does not inject advertising into your traffic. Instead, we offer a limited a

Mozilla names new CEO, Firefox to evolve into a "modern AI browser"
What a brainless clown. I canceled my Mozilla VPN subscription and am moving to Waterfox. You cannot have a "privacy focused" browser if you cram AI crap into every crevice of it.
