Decent webcams are really affordable these days, too. Logitech C920 is a model from like 10 years ago, but affordable now and is still being produced. It’s the one I’ve been using since 2015 to stream and still has GREAT quality.

IMO, a good upgrade would be something like a Logitech C920, it's classic 1080p webcam, very affordable and reliable. The Logitech C920 is a very good cheap camera. I have used it for my whole streaming career (even made it to partner) with no problems with it basically at all. And it is cheap. I think it is like 50USD maybe 70 but it is something that is "so old" that it goes on sale often.
