Camera choices
More light is good and you want to be able to control it no matter time or day. This could mean multiple bulbs diffused and different temperatures and possibly black out drapes or blinds. As for the camera, if you can adjust the settings and lock them (so they're not automatically adjusting to the l

Webcam/lighting recommendations?
Logitech webcams are usually a safe choice, like C920 or C922. They’re good quality but not too sharp, and you can tweak settings a bit. For lighting, honestly a simple ring light or softbox makes a huge difference, even cheap ones <3

Any affordable 3D model tracking webcams?
https://www.logitech.com/en-us/shop/p/c920s-pro-hd-webcam.960-001257 Currently using this one for my VRoid models. I use VNyan and experimenting with Warudo for 3D, and VTube Studio for Live2D. The only issue I've ever had with it was sometimes when the tracking software crashes the camera still beh

The thing that broke my stream the most wasn't my pc, it was webcams
I'd recommend looking into a Logitech C920. I've had mine since 2017 and it still works like champ and the only problem I ever ran into it was once the white balance was off for a stream, that's literally it. I noticed in post and it fixed itself after I updated the logitech g-hub software. I do obv

Whats the best webcam under $50 on amazon?
Logitech c920 is the gold-standard starter webcam. Decent to good quality, assuming you have enough light. It can 'forget' its settings sometimes though... I haven't had that issue with any of mine, but it does happen to some people. I'd recommend against going with any cheap no-name brands though.

Camera help needed
Honestly don’t know much about the camera, I’m rocking a Logitech C920 and it always looked fine, logitune had some options that could make it look horrible though, so maybe run through and make sure nothing is distorting it

Need a webcam for streaming, what's actually good under $100?
I'd say Elgato Facecam MK2 is a good choice, pretty plug-and-play. I've had the MK1 for a few years and barely had any issues with it. It's the best one I've tested in this budget if you care about image quality. Logitech is also ok, but their software is horrendous, at least in my experience. I had

Need a webcam for streaming, what's actually good under $100?
The c920 is still one of the best webcams under $100. It has built in light adjustment technology (called RightLight) which also eliminates graininess up to a certain dimness. It's why it works well for people with mediocre lighting, and it requires ZERO software - unlike a boatload of other webcams
