The Logitech C920 is a very good cheap camera. I have used it for my whole streaming career (even made it to partner) with no problems with it basically at all. And it is cheap. I think it is like 50USD maybe 70 but it is something that is "so old" that it goes on sale often.

ok so you don't need pro level gear to start streaming, budget webcams work great for getting started. key thingsto look for are 1080p minimum (720p looks grainy), 30fps is fine for talking, 60fps better for movement but not rlly a must + decent built in mic tho most streamers use separate mics anyw

you can do it with OBS, add a Game Capture source, then add your webcam as a Video Capture device and position it where you want, that’s basically the standard twitch setup. for affordable gear, a 24–27in 1080p 144hz monitor is usually the sweet spot, for webcam i’d look at logitech c920/c922 or raz

Using a whole-ass $1,000 digital camera to stream is needlessly complicated, not really great for the camera itself, and almost certainly overkill for what you'll be doing with it. You can buy a C270 Logitech for like $15 and it'll be fine. Go up to the C920 if you really wanna be fancy.
