How to disable ACR on your TV (and why you shouldn't wait to do it)

I absolutely despise smart TV's. I just want a beautiful dumb OLED panel. For my LG C2, I had to accept the voice recognition terms of use to be able to see the option to disable that feature. TV OS's are spyware.

New Apple TV 4K is coming: Four features expected later this year

New Apple TV Still Launching This Year

You’ve got a high-end TV, so maybe the built-in UI is decent I've got a LG C2 OLED and I cannot stand the native webOS UI. It feels like the stone age compared to an AppleTV.

I hate the new GUI

It’s so bad. I pretty much only watch it on my LG c2 now. New menu is atrocious

I'm loving Time Stranger, but the lack of accessibility options is insulting and almost makes me want to stop playing

I'm all for bigger text. Even maybe a black border around dialogue options, because my father (in his 60's) has issues with the bright yellow glow when selecting options and has to switch options to see. This is on a 77-inch lg c2.

oled monitor after one year

Their panel isn't defective, it's normal OLED behavior. OLED looks nice, when it works. But I prefer my IPS monitor for the uniformity. Not to mention I won pretty big on the IPS glow lottery with my current monitor, I have very little reason to change it. And yes, I have owned the LG C1 and then C2

I will have to say, the Retrotink 4k does an outstanding job of emulating a CRT. It’s a remarkable piece of hardware.

They will be referring to the motion blur/persistence blur you get from an OLED still being a sample-and-hold display. CRTs lack that blur entirely provided the game's frame rate matches the CRT's refresh rate. On a CRT only a few lines of phosphors are ever illuminated at a time. As soon as the sca

Bazzite has worse performance and problems then WIN on my PC

Linux doesn't have native HDMI2.1 support, so if you use something like LG C2 42" TV as a monitor which only have 4 HDMI outputs, getting 4K@120Hz with HDR, VRR and at 4:4:4 getting near to impossible. Workaround is by using Cable Matters active DP > HDMI adapter which let you do that, but comes wit

Windows HDR on desktop is basically broken — is there any hope Microsoft will fix it?

LG C2 and RTX4080 here. HDR colors look the same as SDR. Problem is that most monitors just have fake HDR and can’t maintain an accurate EOTF curve. Even the latest creme de la creme XG32UCWMG, which is advertised as a 1300nits monitor cannot do accurate HDR over 450nits, hence why it only has a Ves

DS2 looks to run great

Cutscenes are limited to 60 FPS and cause major stuttering issues on my LG C2 when running at 4K 120hz with DLSS quality and all settings maxed bar ray tracing reflections off + x2 frame gen. If I set my monitor refresh to 60hz, the issue is gone and it is butter. This is the only solution from my t
