MacOS 26.1 does not display over Thunderbolt on LG Ultrawide displays. Partial Temp fix implemented.

I've been searching for months, but can't find a monitor. It seems nothing has advanced in the 7 years since I bought my last screen, for those of us who don't want an OLED. It's all just 1440p garbage.
That's the first one on my list, the LG 40U990A-W. It's the LG panel, packaged and sold by dell. Thing is, it also carries a $400 price premium over just buying it from LG.
