2k or 4k? Screen recommendation needed for video editing on Mac Mini M4
Just recently I've been asking about this ones for my upcoming MacMini too. They all seem to be awesome and collect fairly good reviews and owners' feedback: – BenQ PD2706U 27" – Dell UltraSharp U2720Q 27" – LG 27UP850-W 27" Im leaning more towards the Benq though but if any has further recs or insig

Looking to upgrade my setup for productivity + occasional Switch 2 gaming — monitor advice?
The Mac mini was never released with an M3. It went from the M2 to the M4. If you have the smaller newer version it’s the M4, the older design is the M2. Considering the monitor, 4K is a must on MacOS. Due to the lack of sub-pixel scaling you need to have enough ppi for your text to be crisp. 1080 i

Help with a portable or cheap monitor that’s 2k-4k?
LG 27UP85 or the older one 27UP850. Both are 27 inch 4K matte screen. You can go for the 65/650 but that one have no Power Delivery. Rock solid screens! 💪🏼

Which is better for work: LG 27UK650-W or Dell S2722QC
Here is a hint - when buying LG monitors, always prefer the newest models; that would be 27up850/up650 an uq850; LG has nasty habit of selling 5-7 years old models together with new ones - the old models (like uk650) are massively inferior and often much pricier than new ones. I am not sure why exac

What are some cheaper docking stations that you recommend?
I use an inexpensive 850 series LG monitor which provides everything via USB-C (USB hub, USB-C DP screen, power delivery, audio out), so you just need a single cable. Works well for non-workstation notebooks which do not draw more than the allowed maximum over USB-PD. No need for another box on the

External CD drive recommendations. M4 MacBook Pro
I just picked one up for $40Aud. My old MBA 2015 doesn't recognise it. My LG 27UP850-w monitor, says not enough power. That dam thing won't even run a thumb drive (POS). MBP M4 Pro with a hub (not powered)and adaptor also says not enough power. I hear a click when I plug it in and that's all. The dr

budget mac mini setup
For monitor is the LG 4K monitor like the 27UP85 or the older model 27up850 Best Buy for bucks. You don’t need Power Delivery for your Mac Mini, so maybe the older 500 or 600 serie is also good. Check the specs You can buy maybe some secondhand screen like this, is good 4K screen for cheap.

Viewsonic Colorbration+ hardware calibration for VP2785
I think viewsconic hardware calibration function is simply broken in all models. Prad.de had problems with their Viewsonic 2775 I think. It is actually so puzzling how a company specializing strictly on monitors for some many years manages to produce monitor with broken completely feature, no one co

Top 2 4K Monitors (TV + Productivity + Media Use, 27"/24") [LG 27UP850-W] – 27", 4K, HDR10, USB-C, 60Hz, excellent for Mac Mini. Great color accuracy and sleek design. [Dell S2722QC] – 27", 4K, HDR, USB-C, built-in speakers. Sharp display, perfect for work + media. Both are compact, Mac-friendly, an
