Studio Display vs anything else?

OP listen to this person! Don’t get her a 4K OLED as it compromises in all the opposite directions of a Studio Display. You want 5K or 6K IPS for high PPI (MacOS in particular doesn’t scale well on 4k) and high brightness. There are budget options now; I bet you could even find a used LG Ultrafine 5

Apple Studio Burn In?

That's called image retention and turns out it happens fairly often with LG LCD panels. My LG Ultrafine 5K developed this issue after about 3,5 years of daily usage. Once the panel shows signs of it, it's there to stay and you either live with it or replace your monitor. If you decide to live with i

[Monitors Unboxed] 5K Gaming Might Actually Be Good? - 2304 Zone Mini-LED Hands-on at MSI

27 inches is really the limit for 4K if you care about "retina" level pixel density on a desktop monitor. 27inch 5K is perfect. I've had an LG Ultrafine 5K for years. We really should be chasing that level of pixel density for gaming. It really helps eliminate aliasing and dithering issues that a lo

List of upcoming 5k miniled monitors?

As long as it gets bright enough then you'll be fine. Honestly I'm hyped for glossy LCDs to hit the mainstream again. I used a glossy LG Ultrafine 5K at work in a very bright office environment (near a window) and had no problem with with reflections.

Studio Display vs anything else?

I have 5 LG UltraFine 5K 27-inch displays. The LG 5K matches the Studio Display in almost every spec No it doesn’t. I have both sitting next to each other. The color accuracy of the Studio Display is better. The viewing angle and backlighting are much better on the Studio Display. The audio is light

Is the studio display worth it?

I own the LG UltraFine 5K display and the Apple Studio Display. They sit on my desk, side-by-side. I also have a 32-inch LG UltraFine that I use with a WIndows machine. I can tell you the Apple Studio display is significantly better than both LGs in terms of: color accuracy viewing angle backlight c

Apple’s 2026 "new" Studio Display is a middle finger to every consumer.

You aren’t right though. The market for these displays are for colour grading and intense graphic design use where refresh rate isn’t really a consideration. Prices are crazy, yes, but the equivalent that someone who’d be in the market for a Studio Display would be the LG Ultrafine 5K - which also o

Asus ProArt PA27JCV 5K Review

I used iMac, LG Ultrafine 5K, Apple Studio Display and many various 4K 120Hz displays, all 27”. Believe me and just get an Apple Studio Display, its the best for a Mac user :) LG Ultrafine 5K was also fine, gloss screen is a big plus, but I had some white balance issues and the build quality was not

I am a pixel peeper and using LG Ultrafine 5k in the past, yeah. Can’t beat it.
