Do all 5K monitors have this grainy matte coating?

If you can find a used LG 27MD5KL-B, they’re pretty good. Main issue: they are seen as two displays in Linux (Ubuntu Wayland) at 5K because they’re running on Thunderbolt 3 with an older DisplayPort (Windows and MacOS combine the dp channels in the background). For new displays, the Kuycon G27P may

BenQ MA270S Vignetting

The LG 5k monitor 27MD5KL also doesn't have any vignetting and it has the same panel as the apple studio display 1. It can also usually be found used for around $400-600.

What 27", 5K monitor should I buy??

I was not a fan of the proart 5k it had too much backlight bleed and an ugly matte coating. The Viewsonic VP2788-5K for around $900 was much better in those regards. A used LG Ultrafine 5k (27md5klb) for $600 is also quite nice with its bright glossy display.

Best monitor for Graphic Design work to buy now?

It's been a while, but from memory, at the time, the Dells used the same IPS screen as the studio displays, but a whole lot cheaper. Dunno about now, but you could find what screen the studio display uses (i.e LG, Samsung, etc.) and then find other brands that use the same screen, at least compare t

TB on Windows PC

LG makes a nice series with Thunderbolt 3 on up. It's the same panel as the relaunched Studio Display, LG UltraFine 5K (27MD5KL-B). [I don't know if the very newest Studio Display still uses a comparable panel, but the one before it did]. This was a nice duality, because the previous gen Studio Disp

Anyone knows about a color-accurate budget monitor for photo editing / graphic design?

Using the LG 27” 5K monitor 27MD5KL-B. Thing is amazing, but it does not swivel to portrait mode, had to buy a vesa adapter. It’s DCI-P3 99%. Edit: nvm, I see your budget is low, you’re not going to get color accuracy with $200. My monitor used can be found anywhere from $400-600 USD on Marketplace.

HD60X connection to LG Ultrafine 5K for PS5/Xbox/Switch

While this monitor has been amazing for my graphic design + ui work, the fact it can only be used with Macbooks makes this a pain. I was hoping to connect my PS5 to the LG 27MD5KL-B. I tried:Fairkabe - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5XBYQSM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleCable Matters - https://www.amazon

Best monitor for learning designer

What do you mean? Graphics? Maybe around 144 refresh rate if motion graphics is included, 16:9 aspect ratio, supports 99% DCI-P3, or least supports 99% sRGB. 4k Display. Brands like LG UltraFine 5k (27MD5KL-B) or LG 27UN880-B (Ergo) color accurate can help. I still like the Liquid Retina XDR and Pro
