Help choosing a 27″ Mini-LED monitor — Worth buying now or wait for other brands?
Bought this for my wife and promptly bought a refurbished unit for myself. Compared to my LG 27GL83A-B - the blacks are better and a crisp image. Since it is VA people complain about the viewing angles but for me I don't notice a difference. And my single player games (Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, DOOM) l

Looking for a decent gaming monitor under $300
Im like you, looking hard for a $300 monitor for my setup. From my search I'm feeling confident in wants IPS cause OLED looks to dark and I like it bright. BenQ says 1080p is still a "sweet spot" resolution, despite more PC gamers upgrading to 1440p
Not all IPS are same, I have Astigmatism, I believe nano-ips has issues with eye strain, if you google, you will find many suffer from the same, LG_27gl850 has eye strain issues, but GL83A doesn't.So I say don't give up, try GL83A, it must be really cheap now.But I personally can't grentee that for

Thanks to this sub just pulled the trigger on the M4 Mac mini. need honest advice on monitor + peripherals before I screw up.
I have the 27" LG 27GL83A I bought in 2022. It's connected to both my M1 Mac Mini and a PS5. It's a 1440p 144Hz gaming monitor and works great with the Mini. Text is clear and not blurry and it's running at 144Hz. I'm connected via DisplayPort (DisplayPort to Thunderbolt 3/USB-C adapter) to the Mini

New monitor for Sapphire Radeon Pulse 9060 XT 16GB
I also really like my LG. I bought the LG 27GL83A-B back in 2021 and am still super happy with it! At the time it was $380 so it looks like prices came down quite a bit as well since then. Same monitor now goes for $220
