PSA: Yes, your IPS panel can display "black," and you're probably doing it wrong.

My LG 27GL850 has horrendous IPS glow in the bottom left corner, and it is noticeble at 15% brightness i have it set on. If I increase the brightness it gets worse. I am sorry that I didn't return it when i got it heh.

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 576.15

This driver still does not fix the frequent black screen problem of G-Sync on 50 series graphics cards, I got a new 5060ti 16g gpu, and with G-sync turned on, the screen frequently goes black for 2-3 second when pressing Alt-Tab or exiting the game, my monitor is an LG 27GL850 1440p 144hz, the only

Is it really that WOLED are easier on the eyes than QD-oled ?

I have bad dry eyes with this nano IPS monitor from LG(GL83A)I want an OLED but don’t know what to get. I have a 65 LG C3 and iphone both using OLED no issues with those.

BenQ says 1080p is still a "sweet spot" resolution, despite more PC gamers upgrading to 1440p

Not all IPS are same, I have Astigmatism, I believe nano-ips has issues with eye strain, if you google, you will find many suffer from the same, LG_27gl850 has eye strain issues, but GL83A doesn't.So I say don't give up, try GL83A, it must be really cheap now.But I personally can't grentee that for

Reminder that OLED is worth your money

It looks like your old monitor is IPS. Photos make IPS glow look way worse than it actually is. It picks up more of the backlight than you can actually see with your eyes and creates those white splotches. I have an LG 27GL850 and this black uniformity picture would make you think it is unusable. Th

bad dry eyes ... LG(GL83A) Perhaps due to the extremely low contrast ratio.

MO27Q28G - Not Blown Away

Same. Upgraded from my LG 27GL850 and while sure its nice, it's not "life changing" level of nice as what others have expressed coming from a lower end monitor. But it is what it is, seeing too much hype pieces from users and CCs made me expect something that it is not. That being said though, it's
