Help choosing a 27″ Mini-LED monitor — Worth buying now or wait for other brands?
Bought this for my wife and promptly bought a refurbished unit for myself. Compared to my LG 27GL83A-B - the blacks are better and a crisp image. Since it is VA people complain about the viewing angles but for me I don't notice a difference. And my single player games (Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, DOOM) l

BenQ says 1080p is still a "sweet spot" resolution, despite more PC gamers upgrading to 1440p
Not all IPS are same, I have Astigmatism, I believe nano-ips has issues with eye strain, if you google, you will find many suffer from the same, LG_27gl850 has eye strain issues, but GL83A doesn't.So I say don't give up, try GL83A, it must be really cheap now.But I personally can't grentee that for

QD-LED MiniLED vs normal IPS?
Mini LED is 99% better than IPS, I am using a neo G7 as my main monitor with a 27inch LG IPS as my secondary (27GL850-B) The IPS i have is actually pretty good though, pretty much minimal to no backlight bleed and decent colours on it but the neo g7 produces much better blacks and more colour accura

Anyone knowledgeable in HDR, how do I make it not washed out/blurry
My previous monitor (now secondary) of LG 27GL83A-B has HDR10 and it was pretty good. HDR10 is in my opinion the minimum HDR you want that is not an OLED/mini. The HDR on that monitor was good but nothing in comparison to an OLED HDR. As others mention, SDR content isn't good in HDR. Windows really

LG 27GL83A-B or LG 27GN800-B / other monitor recommendations.
The LG 27GL83A-B is a solid option My brother has that one and it has worked the same for like 3 years now Not the best with contrast but performance is pretty good as its IPS

Problema con HDR.
review LG 27GL850 => link notare commento HDR: The LG 27GL850 is terrible for HDR. Blacks look gray due to its low contrast, and it doesn't have a local dimming feature to further improve it. It also fails to make colors look vivid. breve googlata e da quello che ho capito HDR10 è semplicemente uno

[Event] Halloween Special: Play your scariest game with LG OLED’s Perfect Black
Hello, definitely a game like Outlast Trials which would look amazing. I have myself a LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B which i've been very happy with, but if I had to nitpick, its not OLED so I've never experienced the perfect black. LG's OLED perfect black would change every game for me and would make horr

[Event] Halloween Special: Play your scariest game with LG OLED’s Perfect Black
Nothing more eerie and chilling than playing the original games without that much guidance or HUD mess, I'm talking about classic Silent Hill 2 (2001) type shi.I'm currently using an LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B monitor, I find it pretty hard to immerse myself with the bright blackish color it gives, not

Any review or info on KOORUI S2741LM?
In case anyone comes back to this thread looking for info on this display: do not buy it lol. I bought this because the price was shockingly low for the specs, and I figured it was worth trying, but it's going back almost immediately. The local dimming performance is genuinely so terrible on my unit

Q27G3XMN or wait for better mini led alternatives (Europe)
It was a lg 27gl850. Great monitor. Probably even faster response time than the aoc. But like I said the glow actually made it feel like you were missing most of the picture and there was no way to get rid of it. The aoc is not perfect though. Depends how sensitive you are to vrr flicker. It does bo
