Im about to build a pc, is this good/conpatible?
That LEXAR M.2 SSD is Suspect to me. The SSD controller is the MAP1602A Falcon Lite from MaxioTech, a DRAM cache is not available. Lexar has installed 232-layer TLC NAND flash on the NM790, the flash chips are made by YMTC. Please note that this SSD is sold in multiple variants with different NAND f

Anyone else experiencing frequent framedrops like these?
I had this to. Apperantly it was not running well with my Lexar NM790 nvme ssd at the moment of the stutters it was spiking to 100% usage with only 55mb/s reading speed. Ive moved the game to my secondary slower Samsung 970 evo plus and now the reads speeds stay high while usage stay low while drivi

Just wanna say I don't have any problems with my all AMD PC, no crashes, no timeouts, no stutters
I’m using AMD Ryzen 7 7700 with Sapphire Pulse 9070 since March '25 and my only real issue was dead SSD (Lexar NM790 2TB) after 3 months. No other problems 🙂

Beelink ME Mini NAS: Alternatives to Lexar NM790?
I have both the lexar nm790 and hiksemi future, I find the hiksemi future more stable. During testing whenever there is an ssd crap out it is always a lexar that goes first

Pi5 16gb Lexar NM790 m.2 1GB (Maxiotech) MAP1602 controller. Geekworm X1001 adapter. On pre buy research this m.2 is supposed to work fine. Issue: (flashed from windows pi utility latest version) Had issue where the m.2 boot would just stop booting Raspberry Pi OS Lite 64-bit and I would be put at a

9100 PRO or 990 PRO
There likely won't be any difference, over the past ~12 months I migrated my SC installation between three SSD, Samsung 960 Evo, Samsung 970 Evo Plus and now finally my most recent Lexar NM790. Looking back I couldn't tell an actual difference between any of these and I personally doubt PCIe 5.0 wou

Super X SSD Upgrade
SUPER X SSD UPGRADE I can confirm that a double sided 8TB NvMe does NOT fit. At least not the Lexar NM790. The components on the Super X board underneath leave no room for the underside chips on the Lexar. A Samsung 990 Pro 4TB single sided fits just perfectly. I also broke both glass panels on the
