Not sure how it cools the 165H. T14s positioning is horrible in recent gens, especially Intel, a

Not normal, I have the same CPU in a T16 Gen 4 (AMD). What I discovered, was something is occupying the NPU 100%. Please check NPU utilization in task manager and disable the Windows WSAIFabricSvc service. The 90% charging should give you more than 3 hrs unless your battery is very small. The 90% ch

Step 1: Find a part time job. Step 2: Pick up a used Lenovo Thinkpad t14s Gen 1 or Dell Latitude 7420 on eBay for $150-200. They're cheap, well built, and reasonably quick for the price.

Your dad is dumb, the gen 1 Thinkpad t14s I found in the side of the road in a snowstorm has out lasted and is more repairable than my much newer more expensive Lenovo that's now a paperwait because newer computers aren't serviceable.

It's more expensive because that's what people want. The battery life is better and generally performance is better to. I got this t14s when it was on sale for 1200$ and I love it. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1861294-REG/lenovo_21m1001xus_14_thinkpad_t14s_gen.html

The thing is it doesn't have a better cooling system than the T14s (note the s). The T14s Gen 6 is like 90% of the X1C Gen 13 at 3/4 of the price, with a lot more CPU and screen options too. I appreciate the engineering behind the X1C idea but a lot of those innovations are trickling down to lesser

For anyone who wants to go down the rabbit hole a bit and see what led me to the Surface 7 laptop, here ya go. I needed a new laptop for home use. After some evaluation, I decided my main priorities were Windows 11 (no Apple), 14" or 13" display size, at least 500 nits brightness (for some outside u

The situation is complicated. There are drivers for Snapdragon chips, in fact there are already some drivers for the X2 Elite if you search "Glymur" on the Linux mailing lists you will see the progress Qualcomm is making right now. The problem is partially Linux support from the OEMs themselves sinc

Yes it will work, I actually use exactly the same Baseus GaN Pro 65w, it charges my Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2 and my OPPO, but not simultaneously since the ThinkPad needed all 65w. But yeah I can use both. The 100w charging cable is included with the charger I'm not sure if it will be included in y
