Having the hardest time trying to update Lenovo ThinkCentre BIOS using SCCM
We ran into issues with this dogshit model, too. Upgraded thousands of other Lenovo, HP, and Dell endpoints and had zero issues. M70q goes to BSOD on reboot and our techs have to manually touch them to fix them.

Neo 50q Gen 6 or ProDesk Mini 4
I'm a Lenovo fan and I have the Neo, just using it as a firewall so not stressing the cup. From what I remember the CPU for the nano actually out preformed the M70q in most categories. I definitely don't think Microsoft office would be putting that much of a load on any of these machines to be notic

Just found out about the bios cert expiry. God damn.
You can do the same thing with Action1 (not sponsored) endpoint groups and custom attributes via scripting. We went from 600 machines that needed it to about 5. We had an issue with Lenovo M70q Gen 2 and Gen 3 machines that just outright refused the new cert. We ultimately had to put hands on each m

Autopatch and Lenovo BIOS updates
On the same boat. We have autopatch, but even with automatic driver approval, many firmwares are not released. What I noticed from the report is that some Lenovo models seem to be neglected (E14 gen 2 or 3 for example, or some desktops like m70q) with this method. Have you found a working solution?

Lenovo ThinkCentre M70Q Tiny - worth the price?
To be candid, finding a ThinkCentre M70q Gen 3 with a SATA SSD, not NVMe, is slightly concerning as Lenovo didn't ship SATA SSDs with the Gen 3. Often when I've found this setup there been an issue with NVMe support. Depending on region, a Core i3-12100T + 32GB of RAM isn't bad @ 350$, although I'm

Looking for a mini/micro pc for home. Dell, HP, Lenovo. Need help.
That's a great price for a Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 Tiny. There's a fair number that is coming out on the market from early lease, as IT departments haven't been satisfied with how hot 12th/13th/14th Gen Intel CPUs have become. As an example, the 10nm Core i5-14400T has a PBP of 35W, yet a MTP

Proxmox is no longer reachable after large file transfer via VM share
Not really a 1 on 1 comparison but I also experience a lot of network hangs with PVE on my Lenovo M70q Gen4 (with the troublesome Intel NIC). I’ve tried all methods to keep it steady (disabling all network offloading, a cronjob to restart daily, etc) but it’s just crap. I can indeed trigger an inten
