Which is the better buy for 24/7 home server?

Definitely do not go for Aoostar or lesser quality brands. If your main worry is 24/7 reliability, I’d stop thinking in terms of “which one box is perfect?” and start thinking in terms of nodes in a cluster. The Beelink SER5 Max gives you a stronger iGPU and more RAM out of the box (6800H + 32 GB DD

What Starter PC?

Im a big fan of mini-PCs. Things like HP Elitedesk G4 and Lenovo M70q are cheap, take no room, almost silent (that's a big one if you don't have a basement to hide them in) and surprisingly powerful. I run a full Proxmox cluster on a set of mini-PCs.

Buying Win 11 Pro desktops in bulk?

Lenovo Tiny PCs. ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 We sell a lot of these to our clients, along with a matching 24 or 27 inch monitor that the PC plugs into the back of. These will keep you going for the next 5+ years. They also have a ThinKiosk mode if your on a Citrix environment.

GrandMA3 OnPC hardware compatibility

I’d go with an Intel NUC (if budget is an issue) or Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny, maybe a Lenovo Pseries workstation, if I had a choice. P series can have a dedicated graphics card. Not sure how much you’re looking to spend, but I had Lenovo spin up a custom variant of the ThinkCentre Tiny M70q with dual
