Two amazing deals - which one do I keep?
lenovo software support doesn't really matter on the linux side though, youll get gpu drivers through mesa and valve probably won't drop steamos support for the legion go s anytime soon, and if they do the community will surely take over like they did with Bazzite

Anyone came back to SD OLED after other more powerful handhelds?
Haven’t gone back yet BUT! Had a Steam Deck LCD. Gave it to a family member because I got a Legion Go for a very low price. Loved the screen. Did not love the ergonomics. Installed SteamOS on it as soon as the Legion Go S came out and Steam supported it officially. Ergonomics continued to irk me. Th

Two amazing deals - which one do I keep?
That rumor actually got walked back. Lenovo US officially confirmed to PCWorld that they're supporting the original Legion Go with driver and BIOS updates through October 2029, and said the Korean support message that started the panic was miscommunicated or mistranslated. The real knock is that the

What are your thoughts about this.
The thing is that for people using Linux in general for gaming could end up getting better performance even though they would have an 8GB GPU which if you were to remember the Steam Machine would have 8GB only for the video memory so then games could possibly run a lot smoother and also the fact for

If your Steam Deck Broke, Would You Buy Another One or a Different Handheld?
I sidegraded to the Legion Go S SteamOS version and I've sworn to never buy anything else but a Steam Deck again. While on paper it seems great, more power, better screen, steamOS, more ram, more everything. It also has it's downsides you realize when you actually use it daily. It's bulky and heavy

Which handheld would be best value?
I personally would go with the Legion Go S. The extra ram should give it longer relevancy, big screen, official SteamOS support.

On August 6th, Legion go s Windows and Steam versions received the latest AMD drivers, and from January until now, Legion go og has not received any latest drivers at all. Is it worth waiting for the official AMD Legion og drivers? I'm afraid this will happen again with Legion go 2
Why would I buy another Lenovo device when they've shown zero commitment to supporting devices for any length of time? I keep seeing posts from their rep saying "I promise it will get better" and nothing happens. Unbelievable that Legion Go has received such poor driver support.

I refuse to accept this as my fate working in Windows
Gonna drop the cliche "I'm on linux" post. I dual boot and, without fail, get better performance on my Ubuntu boot compared to my windows boot. It's not a mac vs windows issue, its a "windows is criminally bloated" issue. Hell the Legion Go S that just came out is good proof of that. They have 2 dif

Windows hate is overblown.
I think it's mostly around the current implementation of windows on handhelds. It's a standard version of windows, with some extra bits on top to shoehorn it onto handhelds. Steamos was purpose built with handhelds in mind. It's also based on arch Linux and runs only what's required. Whereas you got

How much more of a performance boost do you get if you install SteamOs on your Legion Go 2 ? I want to switch from Windows but I’m not to computer savvy so not sure if it’s even worth it
It's not just the performance increase, but the qol that makes a big difference. Especially if you're not computer savvy. I am computer savvy and went for a Legion Go S with SteamOS because I didn't want to deal with the Windows headaches, I just want to play games on something that works. SteamOS i
