Thrift store find of the century! $30! and seems to be in good working order.

Now I am torn whether to keep this, or my La Pavoni Europiccola. Pulls a pretty good shot considering I'm just getting started with it: Came with manual and everything. I think this is a v1 from 1999. I am surprised by how good condition the machine appears to be in.

Struggling with single basket [Lelit Victoria / Eureka Mignon Specialita]

You can only use the narrow part of the basket to hold grounds. The wide part will always extract in an awkward way. At least this way I achieve great results with my single dose basket on my la pavoni europiccola. I only use 7g-sometimes 8g (usually depending on the coffee ofc). With a bigger baske

I love my espresso. But sometimes I just want a big cup of coffee.

I have 3 different french presses, a bialetti moka pot, a ceramic V60 for filter, la pavoni europiccola, picopresso, flair go, and a traditional costa rican coffee sock I love each one of those methods, but for simplicity I use the french press, if I need more clarity I go for the sock or V60, but i

Continue to wait for fellow espresso series one, or move on to something else? [$3,500]

lol this thing always getting hate on here. I preordered mine as soon as I saw it mostly because of how great the Aiden has been for us. My first espresso machine was a vintage dual switch La Pavoni Europiccola. Bought it on eBay in 2018. It’s the only espresso machine I’ve ever owned. I learned how

So what is the advantage of electronic lever machines vs small foot print espresso makers

So, I've never had a small footprint espresso maker like a Bambino. I've heard they are great, but my first real espresso machine was a La Pavoni. For me, the allure is that I'm making espresso how I thought it was originally made. As it turns out, my machine is less sophisticated than the spring le

Best Espresso Machine under $2k? [$2,000]

A La Pavoni Europiccola or Professional could be a good option for you. It will last you a life time, repairs are simple and parts are easily found. Makes traditional espresso and built to last.

I’ve been noticing a lot of local roasters don’t mention if the beans are light / medium / dark roast - why not?

I usually alternate between Peruvian Hero from Coffee Max and Cool Kids from Sixpence (despite my emphatically being neither cool nor a kid). These work well with my La Pavoni Europiccola lever machine. All the Sixpence blends seem to mention fruity tones, while Coffee Max has its appropriately name

Cover process for our new Webtoon, sketch to final ✨

Consider me a fellow believer, because this lever fever has me acting like a total achiever! I’m a manual-pulling, chrome-buffing, espresso-retriever now that I’ve snagged this 1977 La Pavoni Europiccola. It’s essentially a vintage workout routine💪that just happens to produce world class liquid gold

Is my new grinder calibrated properly? [Baratza Encore ESP Pro & Sage Bambino Plus]

I don't have time for a lengthy reply, so this will be brief for now. I'm on my second Encore ESP Pro now. I explained the problems with the first one in another thread, but I'll say just briefly that it worked fine for a month or so, grinding for my La Pavoni Europiccola and Chemex at roughly 30 an

Best Espresso Machine under $2k? [$2,000]

I came here to say this! I agonized over getting into home espresso and espresso milk drinks for 10 years, and ended up with a la pavoni europiccola from ebay (dated 1991 but clearly never used / was just counter art). I can dial in shots easily with a 1zpresso k max, total set up is less than 1k. M
