Does anything really beat the AOC Q27G40XMN for the price?

KTC M27T6 is probably the closest competition right now. Even that is like $280 on sale though

KTC monitor, are they good for the price?

There's the single's day on aliexpress, I think with coupons you'll find a good price there. I saw the ktc-m27t6 (I think) at 200€ which is unreal

How can companies legally get away with claiming HDR on 300nits displays?

Look for the KTC M27T6, it's the one I'm using, under $300 and with Full Array Local Dimming HDR1400. There's also some AOC models, the Q27G4XMN/ZMN and the older Q27G3XMN. All of those offer a real HDR experience.

So when are we getting TRUE BLACK 1000? Seems to be the only worthy upgrade, I don't even see rumors of such a monitor

27" and 4k there arent many options, except if you want to try IPS as well. The ones i liked the most were the TCL you mentioned (maybe you can even order the 27R94 depending on where you live, more recent/advanced). 1440p would be the KTC M27T6 which is basically the TCL in 1440p with 180Hz and can

looking for 1440p mini-led options EU budget 300-400€

Yes, the M27T6 from KTC for example, kinda the same as the AOC but with 3 times the dimming zones and can be had for <300 sometimes.

People who have both or have seen oled and high end mini led. Is there much difference?

I have both a high end QD-OLED (Samsung G80SD) and an entry level mini led, but still very capable (KTC M27T6). Both are good in HDR, but the OLED pulls ahead in SDR. The picture looks "cleaner" on the OLED due to the better gradation and viewing angles. Here's a funny anecdote : don't forget how th

I always see people recommending mini led monitors over cheap oleds. So what mini led monitor under 500$ USD is worth it?

MSI E16M is the worst of all, TCL 27R94 have bad LD algorIthm, the old 27R83U is better, AOC have EOTF problem till now, KTC M27P6 blooming, the only good regulated under 400EUR from all that I have see and test is the underrated KTC M27T6, I say underrated because is 1440p and usually everybody spe

KTC M27T6 - a look under the hood (Not sponsored)

Hi ! Sticking myself into the comments because i actually recently purchased the M27T6 to compare it to my current AOC Q27G3XMN. In short, I am returning the KTC. It was a shame, because i do think the M27T6 is a well-designed monitor with an aesthetic that greatly matches my setup and has a nice se

Help choosing a 27" 1440p gaming monitor

Just got the KTC M27T6. Very happy with the swap from VA (MSI MAG24CR1). Feel free to check out my post history, as I made a thread yesterday about the HDR (not having had it before I was uncertain about the colors), but turns out everything is as it's meant to. Here is a photo side by side. Mind yo

AOC Q27G3XMN Worth it?

Had it for 2 weeks and returned it. It's fine unless you're a color snob who wants 180 fps. Meaning no 10-bit @ 180hz. You have to go to 120hz if you want 10-bit RGB. My sample suffered from pretty bad VRR flicker too. Also the stand is garbage. Replaced it with a KTC M27T6 and honestly it's a much
