Cool to warm gradient defect in kobo libra color.

This happened to me. I was getting a headache reading because the button side is cool and the non-button side is warm. I returned it and got a Clara BW instead. Search r/kobo and you’ll see others. From what I gather it’s fairly widespread and a lot of people just don’t notice it. Even when people p

Just got my first Kobo - kind of regretting it after years with Kindle

As a kindle to kobo switcher a huge gripe is build quality. I recently found my old kindle basic in a cupboard and the feel, quality, and sturdiness was much better than I remember it being, especially in contrast to my Libra Colour. Even the screen felt stronger and more enforced, which is odd as t

Be extra gentle

Kindles are usually okay. Kobos are more sensitive but stronger than this one. But yes. This displays are mostly very sensitive to pressure. I had a kobo libra colour in folio case in my back pack and something put pressure on it and it was broken when I got to work. I have only tried the kindle oas

Color ereader, yes I know it wont be perfect, I still want to know what the best one is.

Originally, I used a Kobo Libra Colour. I thought the screen was fantastic, but the shape and size of the device wasn't to my liking, personally. I switched to a Kobo Clara Colour, and I love it. It's about the size of a 6" Kindle, so it's small and light and portable. The colors look great on it, f

If you are looking for an eReader this Christmas, there is one from Europe - Pocketbook/Vivlio

Kobo is really colour-first (worse screen quality), has really buggy software and essentially requires you turn your EPUBs to their own kepub format in order to mitigate that and have extra features, unlike Pocketbook which reads them as is without issues. And the build quality/feel is horrible. Wor

Bezle color does matter!

I experience this to a greater degree with my Kobo Libra Colour because Kaleido 3 screen is already naturally grey-er than Carta 1300. Even the BW Carta 1300 at best only has about 70-80% reflectance of actual white surface and to make things worse, Kobo uses a pearly white paint for its white bezel

Pocketbook Verse Pro: only 2 months and the screen froze! I'm furious!

As someone who’s had my Kobo Libra Colour completely freeze on me and had to do this, can confirm.

Ask Me Anything About My E-Ink Tablet Collection

Do you have a Musnap Ocean C? I have been eyeing it for a while but a bit worried because I would have to import it and the Kobo Libra Color seemed like lackluster.

Worth the buy 2026?

If the Colorsoft bothered you, the Libra Colour is not for you! The screen-door-effect is so much worse on the Libra, on the Colorsoft there is only a slight texture in the background, the Libra looks shimmery, grainy and more like "printed on jeans fabric". I'm currently trying the Clara Colour in

Kobo libra colour disappointment

Hi! As someone who owns the Kobo Libra Colour I really appreciate you making this post. For most people, I really think the BW screens are better overall and the “premium” placed on colour e-ink by certain distributors is kind of predatory. - the battery drains so fast, it dropped from 33 to 28 afte
