The grinder matters more than the machine, and you should budget a decent amount for that too. You also will likely need to budget $100-150 or so for accessories like a scale, decent tamper, distribution tools, and in some cases a nicer portafilter and basket. Wil je naar een handmaler, is de Kingrinder K6 zo'n beetje de gouden standaard qua prijs/kwaliteit. Kan ook fijn genoeg voor espresso, als je dat wil. Ik heb hem naast mijn dure grinder en pak liever de K6 dan dat ik de maalgraad aanpas, omdat de K6 prima maalt.

I’d say the Kingrinder K6 fits this bill perfectly. I got it a couple months ago and my Baratza Encore collects dust unless I’m making a big batch. Punches way above its weight class for $100.

As a beginner with a bambino plus (with a kingrinder k6), it's been fantastic. Pulls good enough shots combined with the auto milk steam that I make better home lattes than most coffee shops.

I got a Kingrinder K6 about a month ago and it's the best thing I've bought for myself in a long time. I was using preground with the aeropress, but had no idea how much difference a good fresh grind makes. I will never go back.

Kingrinder K6 is a beast, and the external adjustment is very convenient. 1zpresso Q heptagonal (or Q air for a cheaper model) are both solid. I'd argue the K6 offers more for the money, but the Q is more compact if that matters, and personally I think 1zpresso gear has a little more of a premium fe
