Are there any cheap hand grinders that are better than the expensive professional grinders?
Kingrinder K6 is a beast, and the external adjustment is very convenient. 1zpresso Q heptagonal (or Q air for a cheaper model) are both solid. I'd argue the K6 offers more for the money, but the Q is more compact if that matters, and personally I think 1zpresso gear has a little more of a premium fe

First machine.
First machine. What is your grinder ? My first was kingrinder k6, with a non pressurised basket. Solid setup, I had delicious cups with it. IMS filter was definetely an upgrade but not necessary. Search for advices, a lot can bz found through search.

Good grinder for ~ $100?
I own a Kingrinder K6. This was my first time spending this kind of money on coffee stuff. The manufacturing quality is amazing: Very precise fits between the components, nice bearings. Rubber where you grip it and at the bottom (though I am not sure how this particular rubber compound will look in

Coffee grounds in cup after pressing. What am I doing wrong?
Not trying to jump down your throat but I think this is a pretty unhelpful way to frame this to someone new to coffee. You're not wrong and I understand what you mean but this comment would be more likely to scare them off than anything lol. OP, you don't need a very expensive grinder. It's likely b

First coffee machine advice [$600AUD]
The specs on the Specialista don't look great - like something I'd hate using every day. You're in Breville land - JB are carrying a red Bambino Plus for 500 dollaridoos, or the basic Bambino for 400. I'd get that and a cheap but modern electric grinder like the Geimori T38 Plus (can't find a price

Better manual or worse automatic grinder? [250$]
I have no idea of the pricing in Poland, but the 1Zpresso J-Ultra is a hand-grinding star; and the KinGrinder K6 manual grinder well-regarded for its quality/output/price value ratio.

KinGrinder K6 for Espresso-only: Is 16μm precision enough for unpressurized baskets?
If you’re going 100% espresso, the KinGrinder K6 is honestly solid. The 16μm steps are generally fine for dialing in—you might occasionally feel between clicks, but it’s not a big issue in real use. For medium-dark roasts like Blue Tokai, you’ll still get good body, even if it leans slightly towards

Bottomless Porta filter
You can’t use cheap grade grinder for it, since the basket is not pressurized you need to grind the beans very fine, either go to nearby cafe and have it grinded fine (not too fine as it will choke machine) or you can start with quality hand grinder like kingrinder k6 or if ur budget permits get a r
