Is a kingrinder k6 overkill?
I love my k2. It works great even for espresso and I don’t really mind the interior adjustment. Here’s a great post about the differences, it’s what helped me decide which one to get. https://www.reddit.com/r/espresso/comments/1hm2gmh/kingrinder_k2_k3_k4_k5_and_k6_comparison/

Coffee Grinder $100 or less [$100]
K6 has external adjustment dial with a mechanical flag that tells you how many rotations have been made. Cool and unique to the Kingrinder line. 16 microns per click and 35g capacity. 7 Star heptagon burr. Brings out acidity - Berry - fruit notes better but still good chocolate notes. More versatile

Kingrinder P2 to K6/K7
I am happy with my K6. The finest settings are a real struggle so I use an electric drill to do the work. I bought myself the K6 instead of the K2 or another because it was the most I felt like I could spend on myself as a treat. I'm happy I chose it. It holds a reasonable amount of coffee. I use it

New to grinding for Areopress
Hello there! I had a similar problem when I got a new grinder and could not figure out what grind size fits best for my liking. I also do the Hoffmann method and I have a Kingrinder K2, but hopefully the following helps <3 For my grinder instructions, it says to do “60 clicks” for Aeropress, but the

Amazon Basics Flat Burr
Consider a better quality hand grinder such as Kingrinder K2 or K6. It will be much easier to dial in than your P0.

Manual Kingrinder Grinder Decision [£40 vs £100]
For espresso, at least the Kingrinder K2. Although the P2 can do it, it allows for fewer adjustments, so a step may be too fine and the next step too coarse, not that good for dialing in. Also, the capacity is lower and the grinding a bit harder.

Anyone using an Aeropress and have some tipps/instructions for a more moka pot like coffee
Thanks just tried with 50 (down from 60) clicks from k2 kingrinder and that worked better in terms of mouth feel of the coffee. I think for me the aeropress will be used for lighter roasts for bigger cups and small cups/espresso style for darker roasts. Gotta experiment a bit the coming days :-)

Can anyone recommend some cheap grinder?[50€ budget]
The Kingrinders are currently on sale on Amazon. Best by far would be the K6, because it's the best among the lineup and also suited to different brewing methods. The K5 is the worse version of the K6, should make the same coffee, but adjustments are internal instead of external. K2/3/4 are basicall
