My keyboard died and I need a new one urgently – which should I choose

Out of those I would go for the K10. Gamerbro companies are often problematic and the Keychron Q and V lines have been having issues with switches working loose. The Keychron J8 HE just dropped on Amazon US and it looks quite nice on paper. https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Keyboard-Magnetic-Hot-Swapp

Help me chose

Thank you for a very trough writeup, after reading about horror stories of Keychron V and Q series im now between the K10 Pro HE and F108 Pro. There are people bashing both companies in this post at comments saying aulas suck and keychrons suck. Just from youtube videos the sound of F108 seems to be

Replacement for old keyboard.

I wouldn't get anything by Glorious. They're an overpriced "gamer-bro" brand. They also use proprietary software called "Glorious Core" instead of VIA or a VIA port like Keychron's Launcher. I have never heard of "GeekZB" but it also looks like it's proprietary as well. 😡 I would take a Keychron K10

Yet Another Office Post...

My recommendation if you don’t want to build one is to get a Keychron K10 Pro, you can get it with silent red switches on Amazon for around $100 and it is very nice in my experience for working. It has a very similar noise level to membrane keyboards but it feels much better imo.

Want to find a keyboard that feels like the Keychron K10 HE

Royal kludge has some good ones you might like Check out the R98 series. Has RGB, gasket mounted, hot swappable, wireless option, double shot pbt keycaps so they durable, pre lubed linear cream switches, and they feel really nice. A couple guys in my office use then and I got the chance to test them

Keychron K10 HE?

i've tried the k10 he and the thock is real but it's more muted than traditional mechanicals. hall effect switches sound cleaner because there's less leaf noise. for $153 usd that's actually a solid deal - keychron's he boards are well built. if you want deeper sound, swap the stock caps for cerakey

Peach silent linears are rather light, at just 40gf actuation and 50gf bottom out force. Usually light linears are at 45gf, heavy go above 60gf. Still, they should not just actuate when you touch them, only after about 2mm of travel. Closer to membrane switches would be tactiles, but that is not say
