it’s a Keychron k10 HE. I have 2. I bought one for my home setup, loved it so much I bought a second and brought it to work. Very Very nice keyboard. Notably, there is no software, everything to control the keyboard is done through a website which i prefer.

I would personally recommend the Keychron K10 because while the construction is less premium it's quite solid, and the K series doesn't seem to have the problem with switches working loose over time that the gasket mounted boards are susceptible to. I would avoid Epomaker, it is a problematic compan

but similar to the keychron quality seems to be a concern. I believe the issues with those stem down to a few points on certain lines (V, Q and others that have gasket mount switches) Poron foam plate on gasket mounting boards is too soft/thick and causes switches not to seat properly (easy fix - re

it's not an inexpensive option, but there are keyboards with magnetic switches that effectively make all of your keys pressure sensitive and can then turn WASD into a joystick input. i bought a keychron k10 which does this, and it's a fantastic keyboard.

i've tried the k10 he and the thock is real but it's more muted than traditional mechanicals. hall effect switches sound cleaner because there's less leaf noise. for $153 usd that's actually a solid deal - keychron's he boards are well built. if you want deeper sound, swap the stock caps for cerakey

Some of the differences: Programmability/configurability: The K10 (not to be confused with K10 V2) has proprietary firmware, with practical nothing that can be configured, and the rest are fully programmable (with released source code), with some configuration possible using GUI tools. An example of

I just received my Keychron K10 V2 with the banana tactile switches. I think they sound "okay" and have a pretty good feel, but in comparison to my Monsgeek M2 V5 with the cilantro switches this K10 sounds a bit hollow. I haven't delved into it yet, but it probably has more to do with the overall co
