Maybe the KEF Q350 speakers (these are on sale, model is being phased out), Wharfedale Denton 85th Anniversary, Klipsch RP-600M II, Monitor Audio Gold 100 or a Paradigm speaker in the same price bracket.

In general, you can't go wrong with KEF speakers and a Yamaha amplifier 👍 My question is: what's your source? A PC? Streamer? If you don't have one, I'd recommend the WiiM Amp Ultra that has everything you need, including a good streaming platform. For speakers, I'm not sure the Q350 is really an up

I'd say as long as you keep with Kef, the Q6 should do well. just be aware that like 50% of sound will go through the center for movies. even a single Q3 is great value. I run a Q350 for mine and it's great.

Only thing I’d definitely change is the amp/receiver. You can get a Yamaha a-s501 for that price. Also has built in phono preamp. Speaker preference is subjective. Another great option in the price range are ELAC DB63, Triange Borea BR03, KEF Q350, etc.

The Q1 (successor to Q150) has the 5.25" driver while the Q3 (successor to Q350) has the 6.25" driver. The Q4 has the 5.25" driver and thus is closer to the Q1. Grab a pair of Kef q350 on clearance from Best Buy for $400, wait for the rsl speedwoofer 10e to come back in stock for $330 and grab a nice integrated amp like the Yamaha a-s301 for $380. This will kick ass and be way better than any of the “kits” you’ve been looking at.

I would get some stands for those speakers and get them out of the shelve. Some Kanto stands from Amazon do the trick no problem! For a slim subwoofer, the only one I know that doesn’t get killed by the reviewers is the QAcoustics 4060 if I remember correctly. An older KEF PSW does the trick totally
