Was gifted a huge collection of vinyl and a audiophile set up
Sell the Sony's for $150 and now you have $350. Polk Reserve or LSiM are good bets. Kef Q350. JBL S38 or S312 or Studio 570. Lots of good stuff out there on the used market

I heard (almost) every KEF Meta speaker in existence, here are 8 key findings
Maybe you just don’t like uncolored sound, which is completely reasonable. Kef has a under 0,5 percent return rate on their Uni-Qs (the lead engineer at least claims so). Most speakers are damaged because people expect a Q350 or ls50 meta whixh don’t have a dedicated bass driver to play bass at high

Turntable upgrade?
Maybe the KEF Q350 speakers (these are on sale, model is being phased out), Wharfedale Denton 85th Anniversary, Klipsch RP-600M II, Monitor Audio Gold 100 or a Paradigm speaker in the same price bracket.

Smart my new place for 2026
on the audio routing question, yes it's doable but the answer depends on how you get audio out of each TV. HDMI ARC only carries one source at a time, so if you want to pull the TV's current audio (not just the apple TV / shield feed) into other rooms, the cleanest path is an HDMI audio extractor on

What does it feel like to hear real dubstep on big sound systems?
I have a relatively modest setup with kef q350 L&R, q650 center, and HSU VTF-2 MK5 sub. Q650 is irrelevant I guess because I listen in stereo. Main listening position 6 feet back. It's unreal. The soundstage is as wide as the speakers. Music coming from the wall. Really hard to describe. The speaker

First stereo Hi-Fi Setup
In general, you can't go wrong with KEF speakers and a Yamaha amplifier 👍 My question is: what's your source? A PC? Streamer? If you don't have one, I'd recommend the WiiM Amp Ultra that has everything you need, including a good streaming platform. For speakers, I'm not sure the Q350 is really an up

Speaker recommendations under $1500
I was in the same boat as you and ended up with the Elac Unifi Reference (UBR62). Id highly recommend demo’ing a bunch, purchase your top 2-3, and then return all but your favorite. I tried out the Kef Q350, Elac UB52, Elac UBR62, Polk L200, and the Martin Logan XT B100. loved the UBR62’s in my room

Kanto vs Q Acoustics?
You're going to need to give specifics on the speakers themselves, brand isn't going to tell us much, manufacturers have wide ranges. If it's me, knowing nothing else about your setup, the answer would be "neither", and the suggestion to get a Fosi V3 mini amp (which will pair very nicely aesthetica

Going to a 5.1 system with LS50 metas?
I'd say as long as you keep with Kef, the Q6 should do well. just be aware that like 50% of sound will go through the center for movies. even a single Q3 is great value. I run a Q350 for mine and it's great.
