B&W vs KEF

I think the little coaxial tangerine drivers used by kef in all their designs are fundamentally flawed due to the inescapable issues arising from on\off axis variance, diffraction and distortion that come with using coaxials; leading to a speaker that's difficult to position and prone to listening f

Floorstanders that don’t need a sub, $2k or less.

The KEF Q11 Meta have a port tune around 34Hz. So you're closing in on full-range. I wouldn't say they are very sensitive to positioning. But if you want stronger response below 50Hz, you probably do want to place them closer to the wall: https://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/kefq11meta

Bowers and Wilkins

Similar here. Tried ML F10 but second speaker 30 miles away bb was all broken. Picked Kef q11 meta there but were too big and didn’t play to my liking. Ended up with B&W 603 s3 (800$ pair), denon x1800h ($400) and ML sub F10 (200$). Very much wanted the ML pair. But am happy with my 2nd set of b&w!

Looking for Floorstanding Speakers for Analog Stereo Setup

A few highly rated models for your consideration that would be my top picks from low to high $ that I think are modern looking: Elac df63, revel f36, kef q11 meta.

Buying advice: 2 floorstand speakers €3.5k

I'm not super familiar with the speakers in your list, but I do agree with the previous comment on the monitors vs. the B&Ws for bass response. In that price range and being in EU, I'd have a good look at the new KEF Q11 Metas. 3 way, plenty of bass, nice wide sound stage with the uni-Q. I am a dieh

Kef R7 Meta vs R11 -same price - what do I chose?

I've recently did a comparion of KEF R7 non-meta to R11 non-meta. The difference was quite small (at least compared to the Q11 meta I also listened to). R7 meta I imagine narrows that difference even more. I would choose on looks at that point. What will look best in your room? Or do you have a very
